Ever since I saw Melissa’s photos and edits on WeddingWire I immediately wanted to book her. I love her moody fall-like edits so much! Melissa was actually the first vendor I booked because I was so excited! She is amazing to work with. Very chill, fun and flexible. We were able to work out a payment plan up until the wedding which worked perfect for us. We were nervous for our engagement shoot because we never took photos before and she knew exactly what to do and how to pose us. Then when the wedding came, we were already comfortable with her, she had my list of shots I wanted on her phone and family photos went extra smooth and fast we had time for cocktail hour. We will be using Melissa for everything photography in the future. She’s just awesome!!

Loved loved loved hiring Melissa as our photographer for our wedding. Her and her assistant were punctual, professional, and an absolute pleasure to have. Plus they were flexible with a pandemic Wedding! They were able to capture multiple angles at a time catching both myself and my husband. It saved time with the formal photo graphs and allowed 2 angles for all candids during the event. Brilliant! The photos look amazing, and we recieved the weblink so I can print as many as I want. Melissa is extremely responsive and so down to earth. She was willing to work with us for whatever we needed and was flexible throughout the whole process, especially with Covid. Her prices are much more reasonable than other photographers, and the lower price did not affect her service or our beautiful photos. HIRE HER!

One of the main pieces of advice I received from other married couples was to hire a photographer whose work you LOVED. I definitely want to emphasize this advice for other couples - it is not worth it to "skimp out" on your photographer. You spend sooo much of your wedding day with your photographer, which means you want to pick someone who is easy to spend time with and who creates work that excites you. Melissa checked both those boxes for us! She does an amazing job balancing professionalism with personalization. During our engagement shoot and wedding day, Melissa made us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. I really value photos that feel candid and capture details, which Melissa does fantastic with! If you're looking for a photographer who can capture details and warmth, Melissa is your person. She is also great at taking feedback and works with you to make sure she's capturing photos that will fill you with joy!

Melissa was amazing as a photographer. Super happy with our engagement shoot and our wedding photos. Fun personality and very flexible! With COVID-19, Melissa was very accommodating, making herself available for our second date. Very responsive and couldn’t be happier with the end result! Melissa is a fantastic choice for a photographer. She makes you feel like you've been life long friends in a couple of seconds. I was a picky customer and she went above and beyond to make our day special.
My husband and I wanted more casual style photos. She came up with a positions and shots for it. She was wonderful with my dog and some silly ideas I had in mind to include him. She adjusted a couple of other photo specific requests I had.
In general, I am very critical of photos I am in and was so glad I had someone that felt so close that could give me feedback for some fun shots.
In addition, Melissa made herself very available. I could text her and get an answer on anything right away. She was punctual, professional, and detail-oriented. But most of all I respect her creativity she uses for her craft. I highly encourage you to invest your next photo shoot with her.

My wedding was 1/31/20. When I was wedding planning, I had a vision in my head for moody and dramatic wedding pictures. I saw Melissa's profile on here and immediately fell in love with her pictures. She has a natural talent and is so creative! When you meet her, she is just so nice and you immediately just want to be her friend! As a part of our package, we had our engagement pictures taken by her and it was so much fun! Our dog was the star of the show but she made my now-husband and I feel so comfortable. She even took a few pictures for our Christmas cards a few months before our wedding and will be my first phone call whenever I need pictures taken. If you feel awkward getting your picture taken or even hate it (me!) then you won't regret hiring Melissa. She really takes the time to get to know you as a couple and what you want out of your wedding photos. At our wedding, she was on-time and got right down to business taking pictures! Her second shooter, Will, was awesome with the groomsmen and took some of my husband's favorite wedding pictures. I am so lucky to have these pictures to cherish for years.
