She made us feel so comfortable from the original phone call to the wedding day itself. Meghan was very responsive with any questions we had and really helped keep us solid when things got hectic. She made the taking of the photos such a fun experience (including asking how adventurous we were feeling, leading to some really unique shots!). The photos turned out better than we could have imagined, we felt like we were in a wedding magazine! Something that really meant so much to us was that when wedding stress was getting us down, Meghan was there to remind us of how wonderful love really is. We really could not have done this without her.

Meghan was a dream to work with. Not only is she unbelievably talented, she is so fun to work with.
We had our initial call before I hired her and she told me how it is important for her to know the couple. We opted to do engagement shots and as soon as she came over, we felt at ease. My husband does not love taking photos but actually enjoyed our engagement photo shoot! Meghan made it so much fun.
She then came to our wedding and I was so excited. I knew I wanted something a little artsy / moody. Her eye was unbelievable and she had tons of ideas for my first look and getting ready shots. She made everyone feel at ease.

Photography was one of the few things about my wedding that I didn't want to have to cut corners on, but once I started looking at photographers and realizing the prices out there, I got worried. Enter Meghan Burke Photography! I actually came across Meghan's work when I was looking at photos of our venue (she had shot another wedding there) and I was struck by her style and the way she captured real moments throughout the day. Meghan was easy to communicate with throughout the entire process, and I really appreciated her transparent pricing structure. She helped us think through the whole agenda of our day, which was awesome. We received countless complements from our bridal party, family and friends about Meghan's easy-going professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile for the shot. And our photos (and photo album she designed) turned out absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend Meghan for any event and can't wait to find the opportunity to work with her again!

Meghan was phenomenal. My husband and I are truly blown away by her gorgeous photos of our wedding day!! We were drawn to Meghan because of her artistic style and colorful, rich, vibrant and romantic feel. She has a cinematic quality that we thought was unique and beautiful. From our first meeting together (via video), she put at ease--super professional, warm, and genuinely invested in our wedding day. In preparation for wedding day, Meghan helped us create a schedule (we opted not to do a first look and we still had enough time for all the portraits). We also went over every portrait shot we wanted of our family (and we wanted a LOT).

On the day of the wedding, Meghan, her assistant, Josh, and her second shooter, Amanda, arrived and were just super on top of everything. They all had such a warm and efficient presence that really put me and my family at ease. Throughout the day, Meghan and I would catch each other’s eye, and I truly felt like we were on the same page for every moment.

I also let Meghan know that, when my sister got married, my mom wasn’t able to get the pictures of our extended family that she really wanted. We wanted to make sure that didn't happen again. Well, I don’t know if it’s because I told her that, or if Meghan always does this, but she took CARE of my mom and that meant the world to me. Towards the end of the night Meghan made it a point to check in with my mom and ask if she got the pictures she wanted. We were incredibly touched by that care. My family is spread across the country, so It’s rare when we are all together. We love love love the candids, but we equally wanted those portrait pictures.

And speaking of candids, they are truly incredible. Everyone looks FANTASTIC. She captured some gorgeous, emotional moments that we will forever cherish.

One of the highlights of the day was getting pictures taken with my husband. It was right after the ceremony, and we had so much fun with Meghan and her team going around our venue finding cool places to shoot. Meghan was extremely creative and we have some very special pictures that feel true
to us.

Every time someone asks for a wedding photographer recommendation, I INSIST they book Meg. Her work is absolutely stunning, and her level of creativity is unmatched. The photos for both our wedding and engagement session were more than I ever could have hoped for. She came up with so many fun and innovative shots; I was blown away by the results. Above all, Meg's energy is what makes her special. She is so enthusiastic, positive and on top of every single detail; it truly took so much of the stress out of the planning process and our wedding day. She was much more than a photographer — guiding/scheduling our crazy day, wrangling our bridal party and families, keeping me calm... She even lent me her coat (December wedding) and repeatedly fixed my annoying failing bustle! I can't recommend Meg enough. She is THE BEST!
