MDG salon|studio (formerly Meridian Design Group) has been growing since it was established in 1985. Founders Joe and Sue Moore created a comfortable, safe and professional environment for salon professionals to perform their artistry and work. As the industry changed, so did their perspective. In 2010, they began a new viewpoint after collaborating with their son, Travis, and current designer David Yeager. After two years of development, MDG salon|studio rolled out its new salon and studio concept, along with a marketing platform to support this endeavor in the summer of 2012. As of March 2013, both locations have relocated, expanded and have been completely transformed.

Preferences and working environments have changed worldwide within salon cultures and the new challenge of MDG salon|studio was to create a new perspective while accommodating the foundation of the business, combining the strengths of the past with the direction of the new way of business.
