I have known Matt for a long time.... and so it was a no brainer to go with him. I have attended other events where he has DJed. He was very much a big part of the reception. He directs the evening and my new husband and I had such a wonderful time!!!!!! And for me who is not a big dancer.... I was on the floor all night :). Guests had such a great time also!!!! I am getting in the reviews and it was thumbs up!!!!! YAY

Matt was wonderful. He met with us before hand, helped us pick out our first dance song, and our 'parents' dance. Each was perfect, even though we didn't have any ideas for either before talking to him. He helped keep the night moving, and did a great job picking music thorough out the night. He even helped bleep out one drunk guest who wanted to do karaoke.

4 years later guests are still calling to ask for his name for their own events.

Our DJ was great! His name is Don Koressel and he is part of Matt Kelly & Associates. He played great songs and played a lot of requests from the attendees. His wife took a great video of the reception and then they converted it to a DVD for us. He was nice and professional. I would definitely recommend him!

Matt was a FANTASTIC DJ!! He got everyone out on the dance floor right away (who can resist the chicken dance?) and KEPT them dancing all night long.

He's also a great MC, working with our photographer to make sure the timing of everything went smoothly and that the photographer was ready when events were announced (cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss, first dances, etc.) He would also give us a head's up a few minutes before those moments and give instruction (ie - groom's jacket needs to be on for cutting the cake, can take it off right before dance, etc.)

He also makes a video of reception highlights so everything is captured, from the toasts to fun dance moments!

Matt is a great value as well. One price for the entire evening, so you don't have to worry about determining when to stop. He started playing around 3pm when guest were arriving and played until the family started cleaning up (well after 10pm) -- that's less than $100/hr for a great DJ, emcee, and videographer.

He also came to set up his equipment the day before when we were decorating the hall, so no one had to worry about letting him in the day of the wedding or setting up while guests arrived.

I would DEFINITELY recommend Matt Kelly for any wedding in the Gibson County / Evansville, IN area. The best way to contact him is on facebook.

Booked me for my wedding knowing he was going to be out of town that day. Ignored me every time I tried to contact him for months. Called me a liar and said we never signed a contract nor did I pay him, though I have proof that I did. Had to go through my bank to get my money back. Found this out 4 months before my wedding

Would be nice if we could get what we paid for. Paid for dj and video taping and cant get anyone to return our calls to get video.
