Masha and Rick did both our engagement and wedding photos, and they definitely go the extra mile. By extra mile I mean climb trees, straddle over rivers to get the right shot, and they don't cap you on a certain amount of hours. Masha is an artist, in the sense that her photos don't look like every other photographer; they have their own style and completely blow other photographers out of the water. My absolute favorite part? They don't break the bank!! She tailors the price to your particular needs, not to mention both her and Rich are super fun and hilarious to be around. You can tell they're really passionate about what they do and they really work hard to deliver you the best quality photos that are possible.

When we met Masha her entire person was peaceful and gracious. She was very professional yet extremely friendly. Very like-able so we booked her right away.
It was like she knew exactly what we wanted before we even had to tell her anything!

We created a Pinterest board and were able to send her the vibe we wanted.
Then the night before we came up with our time frame for the next day.

DAY OF WEDDING! Masha was right on time (in fact, arrived before we did). Very classy and gracious. She spent the entire day with us.

Even though we were running behind, she kept me so calm. Her energy is seriously what started my entire day off. She kept me in such a great headspace. She reminded me to drink water, have a snack, and most importantly to enjoy EVERY MOMENT.

She had GREAT ideas and we followed her lead 100%. No questions.

Then her husband came in and seriously, they are a power couple. The way the two of them work so well with each other is insane.
Ok, let’s get to the pictures. WOW. Honestly, no other words or sounds. Just breathless WOW.

The two of them made my husband and I feel like Vogue models, like celebrities, and like we were meant to be in front of the camera for life.

Her direction was very easy to listen to, her ideas and posing was so on point, and she was able to get a picture with EVERYONE we wanted!

She was able to keep her cool while so may people kept interrupting our photos at the venue.

This review truly isn’t even saying enough on how much we love Masha and Rich. They started off as strangers, and by the end of night they became true friends in our hearts.

Her photos are breathtaking, her workmanship is a beautiful hustle. Her professionalism is on point. And for the both of them: their top TOP priority of the entire day is the BRIDE and GROOM.

Masha and her husband Richard are the absolute best! Photography was at the top of my list so I was very picky on who I picked. My husband and I met Masha and Richard and a bridal convention and we made an instant connection. I could tell how much she cared and I could see her passion for photography. Masha is incredible, simply stated. I feel so lucky to have found her, and she will be my families photographer, and friend for the rest of our lives. My now husband and I found her at the Orange County Wedding Expo, and felt like we had won the lottery. After walking around the expo, talking to countless other wedding photographers, we were unimpressed until we met her, and her husband, Rich. As a fashion designer, and someone who loves and appreciates photography, I just didn't feel like the other photographers were what I was looking for, or that I connected with any of them... Their work all seemed to blend together, with similar poses, cheesy sales pitches, etc. We were about to leave the Wedding Expo, when we finally came upon "Mash's Photography" booth, where I was blown away at her work. Her booth grabbed me, the photo quality called to me, and then after talking to her and her husband, I was sold... We booked them for our engagement shoot and our wedding day, and I'm so happy we did! Masha and Rich are the nicest people who have an undeniable talent, and are really the best wedding photographers in the business. For our engagement shoot they met us in San Diego, CA where they spent 10 hours with us shooting at 4 different locations, and these are some of my favorite pictures of all time. For our wedding, we got married in Palos Verdes, CA and they spent 12 hours capturing every aspect of our special day. I look back on our photos all the time, and just smile because they are so beautiful, and so was the experience of taking them. Masha makes you feel so at ease, and comfortable in front of her camera... She's so creative, artistic, and so different than any other photographer I've ever met or worked with. The difference is, that she lives and breathes photography, this is her gift, and you can tell that right away when you work with her. No wonder she's won countless awards... I couldn't say enough nice things about her and her work. I love you, Masha:)

As an artist, I had a very specific vision for my wedding photographer and I was very picky when looking through portfolios. I met with my DJ (Diamond DJ's Entertainment) and when I mentioned I didn't have a photographer, I was given Masha's information. I looked through all of the photos on her site, her facebook, and her instagram before deciding I would reach out and when I heard back from her I was not disappointed! She works with her husband, Rich, who is her biggest fan and cheerleader, and they do absolutely everything they can to make your day amazing. Masha and Rich are both super responsive, either by text or email, and are super understanding when things start to get a little crazy and you forget to reply back to them immediately (I know this from personal experience, haha).

We had a very exciting engagement shoot and Masha was all for it, giving ideas and staging beautiful shots along the way. She took my vision and added her own spin on it and created an absolutely amazing set of photos. We shot for hours and she was energetic through the whole thing.

For the day of the wedding, Masha spent the morning with me until we prepared for the first look and she went to the hotel with Rich to photograph the boys. The first look was staged beautifully, the group shots at the venue were fun and enjoyable to shoot, and the family photos taken during cocktail hour were done quickly. During the ceremony, I didn't even notice her but I knew she was running around getting every shot. During the reception, I would catch her running around but she was so fast and got the shots quickly and moved on. And even at the end of the day after everything was packed I wanted to get some selfies with the hubby and she pulled out her cameras to take some final shots for us and also stage our thank you card photo.

Masha never charges for time, she's with you the full day from start to finish. She's just... phenomenal. I would put my trust in her time and time again!

Oh my gosh, if you need a photographer who will go the extra mile then get Masha!!! She not only was there for my surprise proposal, but did our engagement photos and our wedding photos! Masha is such a great person and artist!!! We absolutely LOVE our photos!!!!!

Love, Love, Love Masha!! She is the best! We did 3 shoots with her and loved the pictures from all of them. Masha is very artistic and gets fantastic shots. She makes you feel beautiful and comfortable while she's shooting. She knows just how to tell you what to do to get the best angle. She is great at communicating with you quickly and working to fit things into schedules. She is the best at what she does!!

While planning for my wedding, I told myself that I would not compromise anything to have the best wedding photographer possible. Like all wedding couples, I did have a budget in mind for a photographer, and while walking through several bride shows, I hadn't seen a photographer that made me say "that's my photographer"; I was beginning to lose hope and was going to settle for a decent photographer at a price within my budget. While attending one of the last bridal shows just as I was going to call it quits thinking I wouldn't find what I need in the last few aisles. I came across Masha's Photography in the last aisle and one of her images captured my eye, I couldn't stop looking at it because it was so beautiful and unique. I started talking to Rich & Masha about what they had to offer and getting to know them a bit. I walked away feeling, these are the people I want as my photographer, although Masha was completely out of my budget I was willing to take the basics on everything else. I figured out a way to have them as our photographer & added an engagement session which really helps build rapport making our wedding day even more special because they knew our personality & style so they could capture those special moments.

I am very glad that I choose to have Masha as my photographer. She has a lot of passion and dedication to her work and it shows in her photography. Her artistic perspective is very unique and tells a little story in each picture. I liked her attention to detail and making sure that she gets a perfect shot every time. She is very patient and extremely professional. Masha & Rich are very easy to talk to, which helps if you have concerns/questions, they are very open to hearing what you have to say and are willing to work with you and make things work.

I will definitely be recommending her work to friends and family, and hope to work with her again.

As a father of a beautiful bride handling manyof the duties, financial and otherwise (along with my beautiful wife) I can’t begin to tell you how wonderful our experience was with Masha and Rich. This “Once in a lifetime” for our little girl was left in good hands with them. They took charge and handled everything in a professional, efficient and courteous manner. And equally as important, were pleasant and easygoing. They took great steps to help with so many parts of our day (many not photography related) and in a way that showed they genuinely cared, not because they had to. Masha really is a Brides photographer and was with our daughter almost the entire time. This allowed us to do all the things dads and moms should be able to do during our little girls wedding. The day was everything we hoped and dreamed it would be.

Masha arrived on time and worked constantly to take care of every request, big and small throughout the day. Her ideas and compositions were creative and beautiful for our “Kentucky Derby” fun themed wedding. We were quite surprised to see Masha lying on her back on the dance floor while the wedding party danced in a frenzy above her while she took every kind of photo imaginable. They called everyone to the dance floor using the DJ’s microphone to pose a huge portrait of all the guests, icing on the cake considering our new combined family traveled from both coasts. Masha was still packing her gear long after everyone had left.

We contacted our Temecula venue, South Coast Winery the next day and exclaimed quite loudly our praises for Masha’s Photography. My wife met Masha at West Coast Winery and was hooked from the moment she met them booking Masha after her first 30 minute meeting. Her instincts proved 100% correct on one of the most difficult wedding vendor decisions there is to make.

Masha’s Photography was a major highlight to our event and will be remembered always.

Masha and Rich are wonderful. Masha has an eye that just can not be explained in words. Her photos look airbrushed and "fake"... but they are far from it! It's Masha's ability to see a wonderful venue and to place the bride and groom in just the right spot with just the right light... and you can see results! Just perfection!!

Having a married couple take photos is a great idea. Rich (who did great second camera work) was always willing to make sure the groom is involved in the process as well.

Lastly, they recommended... and we agreed that a "first look" is the way to go! Not only is there more time for pictures with family after the ceremony (because all the couple shots are done already) but the first look takes away a lot of the anxiety of seeing your bride come down the aisle. Without all the anxiety (because I already saw my beautiful bride) I was able to focus on her and the ceremony more.
