Oh my goodness, where to start!? Two years ago I reached out to Mary to book our wedding photos. At the time I was completely unaware that she was a budding photographer. I had seen her photos on instagram and fell in love with the raw, editorial style photography style she has. We did our engagement photos in the snow - which was PURE MAGIC. She was willing to stomp around in the accumulating snow with us and made us feel totally at ease. The final edits came quickly giving us ample time to get our website, STD's and invites together. Come wedding day, Mary was so ON IT! I had given her a very vague timeline of the day, hoping for her natural talent at capturing the beautiful candid moments to shine. And SHINE IT DID! I appreciated her ability to keep the day fun and easy while respecting my time with my friends and family. Along with the loose timeline and my shot list being tiny, at best, she was like a ninja and would show up out of nowhere just nailing the timing. Mary's personality is so easy going and uplifting. She works her tush off and makes it seam effortless. LOVE HER TO BITS and hope to work with her again in the future. 1,000% would recommend!

Mary completely knocked it out of the park. She captured so many beautiful moments that made the day really special--not just the posed moments, but all the sweet little things in between. She is SO easy to work with, and she was never in the way, even though she was able to take really intimate pics of us during the ceremony and reception. Her photos are unconventional in the most beautiful and natural sense--nothing boring or cheesy about it!

Mary was photographing a wedding of two of my close friends. She seemed to be everywhere at once! I noticed her dedicated time to special loved ones in addition to the bride and groom. She caught the most precious details. Ripples of the bride’s gown, an old friend laughing, the cascade of nasturtium, and even the bluebird that joined the festivities. Mary has such a relaxed and confident presence, she is someone to count on so that all of the guests, family and the happy couple can be present in every moment without worry.
