Marcel did an excellent job on my wedding cake, exactly the way I described it! It was perfect! I highly regimens this place!!

We were planning our wedding from out of town and tried to visit the bakery during the one weekend that we were supposed to be in town. Unfortunately, our out of town visit coincided with a horrible heat wave that knocked out the AC in the bakery, so it was closed. I frantically called Marcel and asked her if there was any way we could meet that weekend. The AC wasn’t due to be repaired for a few days, so she invited us to her home and gave us free cake samples and a tour of her kitchen! We loved the samples but we wanted to try the snickerdoodle cake, which she didn’t have any samples of. Before we had even booked the cake or put down a deposit, Marcel mailed a free sample of the snickerdoodle cake to our home. Marcel really went above and beyond to help us get the perfect cake.

We ordered a two tier snickerdoodle cake with cinnamon buttercream frosting and additional sheet cakes for our guests. It was a huge hit! Marcel also offers vegan cookies and gluten free cupcakes, which our vegan and gluten-free guests really appreciated. We were eating cake for two weeks after the wedding (it was frozen for 1 week) and it was still absolutely delicious. We didn’t save the top tier, but if we happen to be in Spokane for our first anniversary, we will definitely reorder a top tier from Marsells!

My husband and I decided to go with Marsells Cakes for our wedding. We ordered a smaller 2 tier cake and about 180 cupcakes. I sent her pictures of what I was looking for, cupcake flavors, frosting styles and the decorations and she nailed it!! I had so many compliments and people asking me who did our cupcakes and cake! My all time favorite is the lavender cake flavor!!

Marsell's cakes are always bound to amaze! We love working with her and this is not the first time we have gone to her for her business. Her level of professionalism, her devotion to perfection and her sweet, charismatic personality are just some of the reasons we keep coming back to her. She's super talented, VERY accommodating and willing to do just about anything to make things work both for her and her clients! She was super understanding of our budget and still made it work in a way that got us a stunning looking cake that worked just right for what we wanted. I know I will continue to seek her business each and every time I need a cake (or any other baked goods)!!!

Everyone LOVED the cake. I'm typically not a cake person and the cake was very good. Marcell was wonderful to work with. She also has a fantastic lavender cake. 10/10 would buy again.

Marsell's Cakes and Desserts was phenomenal!! During the planning process I was traveling a lot for work and was unable to come in for a cake tasting so they overnighted cake samples for me to try, which was above and beyond what I every expected from a vendor. For the cake design I sent them a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like and when it arrived on the wedding day it looked EXACTLY like I had wanted. The cake was beautiful and it tasted excellent too. I would highly recommend Marsell's for any wedding or event where you need a custom made cake.
