Meagan was a great fit for me and my group of bridesmaids. None of us generally wear makeup and she did a fabulous job helping me and my bridesmaids find looks that suited our more natural styles. All the pictures I've seen so far look great and I can't wait to see how my professional photographs turned out. We did a trial run in advance where we were able to discuss my preferences and different aspects of my makeup plan. This also gave us a chance to get to know each other before the chaos of the wedding day. She was great about adapting to my preferences while being true to her art. She is an artist with her makeup tools and her services were well worth the wedding day investment.

Meg was amazing!!!! She was so easy to work with and very reasonably priced! She had top notch products and offered airbrush foundation and lashes. Her and her team did my make up and my bridesmaid's make up and everyone loved it. They catered to each girls wants so that we all felt pretty. Truly wish Meg could do my make up every day and I would give her 100 stars if I could!!!

Your wedding day is one of the most special moments in your life and also one of the most stressful, so you want to hire vendors that work together to make the day go as smoothly as possible. Unfortunately, I cannot with good conscience recommend Mariposa based on my experience. I contracted them to do hair/makeup for my wedding in August, and I was so excited! However, when I received my timeline from the venue (8 hours on-site), they told me that they couldn't make my timeline work as they need 4 hours for 5 makeup applications and 4 hairstyles. I understand that they want their work to meet their standards and for it to reflect their talents, but what about the client that's paying for their services and their expectations? They never asked what hairstyles or makeup I wanted before determining the time. I offered to send photos of the bridal party along with the looks I had in mind as I wasn't requesting complicated updos, I asked if we could do simpler makeup to help with time, etc. They remained firm that they needed 4 hours and would not be able to meet my timeline (still without knowing what looks I want). Due to this, I made the tough decision to cancel my contract and requested my deposit back as I truly tried to make the day work, and they refused. It's unfortunate that they would not work with me to meet the timeline and/or refund my deposit, but fortunately, I was able to hire a great company that is working with me and willing to meet the timeline provided.
