Marianne is great! She did our engagement and wedding photos and they came out amazing. She is so easygoing and puts your mind at ease while perfectly spelling out what to do and how to pose so it made the day super smooth. She knows her stuff from picking the best spots to lighting and lenses. The only caveat I'd say is definitely advocate for any unique poses or scenery you want - I was worried about being too "needy" (I don't like when brides spend the whole night taking photos) but there were a couple last minute shots I asked for as cocktail hour was winding down and am so glad we did since they ended up being some of our favs and rounded out the collection. I think it'd be helpful to review her portfolio for inspiration before your big day since she has such a great range. Overall both Marianne and her second shooter were so talented, fun and professional, we'd highly recommend!

Marianne is absolutely amazing! She is great about making her couples feel at ease in front of the camera. My husband hates taking pictures, but now he is one of Marianne’s biggest fans! We did not originally use her for engagement photos, but did a mini session before our wedding to meet her. The photos turned out gorgeous and confirmed we made the right decision for our photographer. On our wedding day, Marianne and her assistant Kayley did an amazing job capturing every part of our day. Investing in a good photographer is definitely something you should consider when planning. If you choose MLP, you will not regret your decision, trust us!!

From the moment I inquired about her services, Marianne always went above and beyond what was asked of her. She was always friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the stress of planning a wedding, and she was always there to answer any questions I had or help me with any concerns. We hired Marianne for our rehearsal dinner and destination wedding in Hilton Head. She went above and beyond on our special day.
