Ashlee has been the most amazing person to work with. She has made my husband and I so comfortable in every session we have had with her and we truly get the most beautiful results. I would not recommend her more!

Ashlee was absolutely amazing!!! She captured our wedding on 5/18/24 along with our engagement pictures. She made us so comfortable and was able to get some great photos that I will love forever! She made the process super easy and had all kinds of locations in mind as well as poses so we didn’t miss out on a single shot I wished I had later. I can't say enough great things about Ashlee. When I booked her, I was a little nervous because her business was just starting. But she quickly proved to me that I had no reason to be nervous! From the get go she was extremely organized and professional. She maintained contact with me frequently and always sent me a confirmation or receipt with each correspondence. Ashlee is so genuine and you feel so comfortable the second you meet her. Also, you cannot go wrong for the price. My husband and I got to enjoy a complimentary engagement session which was really cool because it gave us a chance to get to know Ashlee before she shot our big day. When it came time for the wedding, she sent me a very detailed itinerary that was very easy to follow and had some helpful tips on it. She is so flexible and we were extremely happy with all of our pictures. She even brought a second photographer along for a different perspective. It was a pleasure to work with Maple Hope Photography! All of our family and friends love the photos (and I don't think they're are just saying that to please a bride)! She took the awkwardness out of taking photos and made it feel natural. I love the mix of posed and candid photos-truly please with all of the service!

My fiancée and I currently live in Texas and are trying to plan our wedding in Northern Wisconsin where my family has deep roots. Since we are geographically so far away and on a budget, we were in contact with Ashlee since January of 2017 about our wedding in August of 2018. She assured us that she was available on our date and even sent us a contract which we all had agreed to sign upon meeting her in two weeks. Her style was amazing and we were thrilled to nail down our last vendor a year in advance.

Our travel dates were coming close, so I began trying to reconfirm our appointment to sign the contract with her in July but never heard anything back. I assumed she was just busy. Little did I know that she changed her business email address without contacting me to let me know. Red flag number one. So I figured this was just a mistake and emailed her new address to confirm.

She emailed me back saying:
"Hi Kristen!!
Yes I did change my email about a month ago. I tried to contact you to let you know of the new email change and mentioning that I am booking more weddings in 2018 so spots are filling up. I didn't hear anything for a few weeks but I was having issues with my AOL email which is why I changed to Gmail. I would love to meet with you but I do have August 18, 2018 booked already."

What kind of business owner doesn't write down her clients contact information; agrees in writing to save the date that you've been talking about since January and then books someone else without telling you; and pretends that she doesn't know she messed up? I'll tell you what kind. That's the kind you don't want to book for your event. Someone flakey, dishonest, immature, and unreliable is not someone you want to pay hundreds of dollars to capture your special day - regardless of what occasion that might be.

Thank god we have time to find a replacement.
