Christen Hobbs (the owner) literally saved the day for my bridal portraits! I had the misfortune of being stood up by my original choice for hair and makeup (which I will mention in a different review), but Christen was able to come to my house on only 1 hour notice and help me look beautiful for my pictures.
After my original choice was 45 minutes late (and eventually a no-show) I called around frantically to several different places to see if they could help me. When Christen got my call, she graciously dropped everything she was doing and came to my house to do hair and makeup. Not only was she a God-send, but she did a fantastic job. I showed her a few pictures of hairstyles I liked, and she managed to find a stunning combination of what I liked. She also listened to my concerns regarding makeup that was too heavy, and ended up doing something that was natural looking, yet just above my normal makeup.
Since she was so responsive, I decided to use her services for my wedding day makeup and my bridesmaids. Everyone really loved her. She is extremely positive and patient. She listened to everyone's requests, and added suggestions when needed. I was very pleased with her work, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for bridal or special occasion makeup. Thank you Christen for everything, I think you are not only a talented makeup artist, but a truly kind and sincere person!

I was incredibly lucky to have used Christen at Makeup Houston for my wedding. The entire experience was perfect and stress free! Christen sweetly and patiently listened to each bridesmaid, sister, mother and mother-in-law and made them each feel both comfortable and beautiful in their makeup. Her work was flawless, and her scheduling even allowed time for final touch-ups just before the ceremony. As for my own makeup, she made my skin look flawless, added very natural lash extensions and highlighted my cheekbones. I felt gorgeous, glamorous, but still like myself! I recommend her to absolutely anyone. She is worth every penny and more!
