I’ve asked Brittany to do my makeup twice, one was for my graduation and the other was for family photos. Both were different looks but she understood the importance of keeping it natural and bringing out my best features. I felt like the best, most glamorous version of myself and people complemented my makeup on both occasions. I would definitely continue to use her in the future. Brittany was very professional and kind. I gave her an image of what I was wearing and trusted her to take my look into her hands. It turned out absolutely amazing and the make up matched the sequence of my outfit/hair. Brittany made sure all along the way to converse with me and make me feel comfortable. She also made sure that after everything she had done I liked it and let me know to be open and tell her if I didn’t so she could fix it for me. 10/10 would recommend.

Britta was a joy to work with and so attentive. She made our event absolutely perfect! Even with the unexpected changes, she never let it become an issue, and for that we are unbearably grateful. We have had bad experiences in the past with artists promising a result which ultimately ended up in tears and a ton of unnecessary stress and regret. However, Britta included us in every single step of the process and never shamed me when I wanted things a certain way. She met us more than halfway, which was a huge relief as the unpredictability of the day was already putting us in a spiral, but her guidance and patience reminded me that there are still reliable and caring people in this industry. She proved many times over that we made the right decision hiring her. Not to mention, she is truly talented, as I did not believe it was possible for me to look and feel as beautifully as I did. My entire party plans on hiring her again for every event we have moving forward!

I’ll be transparent because I know there are mixed reviews out there, and I want to share my full experience. At the beginning, there were a couple of bumps. Britta had to cancel my makeup trial twice. The first time was on the day of my bridal shower and I had to SCRAMBLE for a solution but it worked out in the end! The second time, another artist came in her place, but since Britta would be the one doing my wedding day makeup, it didn’t make sense to me that someone else would do my trial and I was unhappy with the final product from this appointment. I felt unsure with my decision to book at this point still.

Britta later communicated with me personally and opened up about her ongoing health struggles and hospitalizations related to an autoimmune disease. As a nurse, I understand how unpredictable and serious those conditions can be. Her explanation made sense, and I appreciated her honesty. Health challenges don’t always translate well over text, and I can see how miscommunication or sudden changes could be misunderstood.

She rescheduled my trial a third time. I was still very nervous but when she arrived, everything changed. We clicked instantly. She completely understood my vision and absolutely nailed my bridal look. I finished my makeup trial feeling SO excited and confident for my wedding day.

On the wedding day, Britta showed up early with a full team and everything ran smoothly. She and her team did hair and makeup for me, six bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, and two flower girls. I cannot emphasize enough that everyone's hair and makeup looked GORGEOUS. Britta and her team can work some serious magic! She created such a fun, calm, and joyful getting-ready atmosphere, which made the morning even more special.

Despite some of the negative reviews I have seen, my experience was that Britta is a real person with a real, talented team who genuinely cares about her brides. I’m so grateful I stuck with her, and I’m beyond happy she was part of my wedding day.

I would not recommend this makeup artist to anyone planning a wedding or special event. Communication was extremely minimal leading up to my wedding day, often leaving me feeling anxious and unsure if everything was still confirmed. Despite having a signed contract clearly stating that she would arrange a backup artist in case of emergencies, she completely failed to do so.

On the morning of my wedding, she no-called and no-showed. I had five girls counting on hair and makeup services, and we were left scrambling at the last minute trying to figure out a solution on one of the most important days of my life. There was no explanation, no backup plan, and no professionalism.

Weddings require reliability and preparation — unfortunately, she showed neither. Save yourself the stress and choose someone who takes your day seriously.

I booked Britta Michelle Artistry for my wedding hair and makeup, paid a $100 deposit via Zelle, signed the contract, and scheduled my trial. After that, she completely disappeared.

When I called to confirm details, she mentioned she was flying to Boston but would reach out the day before my trial. I had a bad feeling, so I texted asking for the location. She said it would be at her home studio in Temecula. That was the last clear communication I received.

She never contacted me the day before or the day of my trial. I called, emailed, and texted her multiple times with no response. At 3:33 AM—well after my missed trial—she finally replied, claiming she had COVID and had been asleep. My wedding is now just 11 days away, and she left me scrambling to find a replacement.

I canceled her services and requested my deposit back immediately. She took my money, never provided any services, and has still not returned my deposit.

This was unprofessional, stressful, and disappointing—especially for something as important as a wedding. I do not recommend trusting her with such a big day. Still haven’t heard from her or anyone on her “ team”
