Bev was so great and accommodating! She was so easy to communicate with via text, and made scheduling everything a breeze. I live on the mainland, so when I visited home in July, I did my hair and make-up trial. SIX MONTHS later, we were back for our wedding. Bev was able to create the exact look I wanted with the pictures from July. I should also mention that I got married at sunrise, so Bev came to get me ready at 5:30am! She was on time, did a great job and I looked and felt amazing all day!

She did such a wonderful job on everyone's hair and makeup. I was nervous since I have some what of a pale complexion and very fine hair. I couldn't believe how amazing my hair looked and it was all my own hair!!! It held up all night! Also all my bridesmaids and mothers looked beautiful and got exactly what they wanted!!

I had originally done two make up trials - one with Bev and one with another artist. I had a tough time choosing between the two and I wished that I could have had both artists. Well my wish came true!

My initial makeup artist only had one assistant so that meant we had to start doing makeup at 7am (not ideal in my opinion). My wedding planner reached out to Bev one week prior (talk about last minute!) and Bev was available
in the morning to do hair and makeup for part of my bridal party!

I'm so happy and grateful that Bev was available - not only did that we mean we could sleep in a little longer, but I knew from my trial that she would do a spectacular job with everyone's hair and makeup.

She is so sweet and had great conversation with the girls. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed the entire day and she knows exactly how to make your face look natural yet glamorous. Even when one of my ladies didn't know what look she wanted, Bev was quickly able to provide suggestions and the results were perfection.

Bev was amazing! And she made me look amazing! She's got a very laid back style that really only comes with true experience and confidence. I think she could have done my hair and make up with her eyes closed. She is soooo good!! And I'm a very difficult person to please, I'm never happy when I come out of the hair salon. I can always find something wrong. But with Bev, she was able to give me exactly what I wanted, and if I wanted something different, she could fix it with one touch, a tug, a bobby pin, and voila - perfection. She works very quickly as well and is very affordable compared to others. All of my bridesmaids were happy with their hair and make up - they all looked stunning. I'm convinced that I would not have felt or looked as good if it weren't for Bev. She got my big day off to the best imaginable start. Thank you!!

Bev and her assistant did my hair and makeup as well as my mom's hair and makeup on my wedding day. We looked FABULOUS. She was great at corresponding through e-mails before our appointment date. Bev and her assistant came to our hotel room right on schedule with all of the essentials. They were very sweet and friendly but also very professional. You could tell Bev had many years of experience. I was very satisfied with the finished product. My hair and makeup stayed on all day and night, even after getting cake smashed in my face! And my mom looked so beautiful too!
They even brought a few orchid flowers for my hair and attached them to my hair wreath which ended up looking so great!

I shopped around a lot for hair and makeup vendor. Bev's reviews were one of the best, and her prices were definitely the most reasonable. I'm so glad I chose to do a trial with her - I was even able to time it so it was on the same day as my engagement photos. She is super nice and makes you feel really comfortable. She really honored my requests. I loved how I looked, and the look lasted through my entire event (except for the curls, but that's my own hair's fault). The day of the wedding she got to our hotel right on time. She was easy to get in touch with a responded to my emails right away. Her assistant the day of was also very nice and good at her job. My bridesmaids loved the hair and makeup too - the airbrushing is so light, and we all looked perfectly made up in pictures, but not overdone. I would definitely hire her again if I had a fancy event to attend.

Planning for a destination wedding is always difficult! I found Beverly's rates very competitive and as soon as I arrive in Hawaii had a trial hair and make up. She was very flexible and worked with what you wanted. I wanted flowers in my hair and she asked that I bring them with me and also offered to bring a few just in case! I wanted a very natural look and loved how she did my hair and make up. EVERYONE loved how she did my hair and makeup!

I LOVED how my hair and makeup turned out for my wedding! I wanted a more dramatic look BUT still look like myself and Bev acheived exactly what I wanted. My bridesmaids and I also LOVED our lashes! She uses false individual lashes which creates a full and longer look but still looked very natural and not fake at all! I had a hair and makeup trial and wanted a few modifications made the day of which she got perfectly! She requires a deposit to book but this gets deducted from the final cost. Her pricing is very reasonable for the quality of her work. She also uses airbrush foundation which also created a very natural look which lasted all night! It was also very light and did not feel heavy unlike other makeup. I would definitely recommended Makeup by Bev for any bride looking for an artist for a great price!

I actually booked Bev at the last minute (as in, a few weeks before the wedding). My husband's aunty was to do my bridal party's hair and make-up, but due to unforeseen circumstances, she couldn't do it and recommended Bev to me. And I am so glad that Bev was available to do our make-up and hair!
On the day of, Bev contacted us to say that she was coming half an hour earlier. It was a great thing because unbeknownst to me, there was a parade and it was blocking access to Hale Koa (where we were getting ready). Unfortunately, the parade caused 2/3 of my bridal party to be late. But Bev was okay with that and started working with my mom and I. Bev brought along 2 assistants and they all worked efficiently. They actually finished an hour ahead of schedule!
The end results were fabulous! I gave Bev, my bridesmaids, and my ring attendant complete freedom in how they wanted to do their hair and make-up. They looked beautiful and fitting for their roles; for a moment I was jealous that they would look better than me. But not to fear! Bev did a great job replicating my trial for hair (my husband's aunty gave me a trial and recommended a style that would look good for the ceremony and traditional Korean ceremony). Bev also made me look flawless with make-up (I told her she could tweak it from the trial; my main focus was looking beautiful). And looking into the mirror dissipated my fears of not looking as beautiful as my bridal party.
If I could hire Bev again, I would completely trust her judgement. Also, her make-up stayed on a long time and did not make me shine! Even though it was humid outside and I was sweating, the make-up and hair stayed in place for the whole duration. She made all of us look beautiful for the day and night!

Bev was great! We wanted very natural make-up and she was very careful and had great tips to make us look great. Her prices are comparable and she's very flexible, she had to arrive at our hotel room by 4am. She's very good at thinking on the fly as well. That morning turned out to be quite turbulent weatherwise and we had originally planned for our bridesmaids to wear their hair down but she suggested an updo because their hair would just be blown all over the place. She said to trust her and it turns out, they looked even better with their hair up anyway. Fabulous!
