I'm Tommy J. an experienced wedding & event planner based in Atlanta, Georgia. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with interior design, over the top events and even more so glamorizing things. At a very early age my mother, family & teachers all recognized and encouraged my natural ability to highlight the beauty in even the simplest things. I found myself fascinated and inspired by bridal magazines, Home Garden T.v. and the syndicated show Martha Stewart Living. Around the age of 14, not only had I taken on & mastered the task of decorating the family tree, but I’d even managed to create a small business organizing and decorating local houses during the holiday season. One of my fondest memories was centered around old school Christmas music, pop corn and the holiday t.v. special “Christmas at the White House”. Upon graduating high school, I attended the Art Institute of Atlanta and later obtained my BBA in entrepreneurship. Over the years, I've worked for several prominent retail establishments in positions which allowed me to express my creativity and passion for design. Around the age of 16, I was afforded an opportunity to plan & design my very first wedding which turned out to be the lengthy road to discovering passion! Because of this my desire to learn the industry grew, and word of mouth started to spread. The Luxe Statement has been both rewarding and inspirational. (I still can’t believe it’s actually happening sometimes!) Throughout this journey, I've been fortunate enough to earn the trust of some of the most beautiful clients. It's because of them The luxe Statement is now able to press forward and expand it's reach to new & soaring heights!
