My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Lupins and Lava. Our wedding and engagement photos exceeded every expectation we had. Our photographer worked so hard to ensure our personalities and love were captured perfectly and that we were relaxed and having FUN the entire time. If you want someone you can trust to go above and beyond, capture your true selves, make your wedding about only you and your love for one another, and someone who truly cares about your desires for your big day, there really is no one better!

I am genuinely struggling to put into words the appreciation and love I have for Lupins & Lava. Flowers were incredibly important to my mother and me for my wedding day and when I saw what the team delivered, although it sounds cliche, they were truly beyond my wildest dreams. Becca, the lead florist, was such a pleasure to work with. She was always available for consultation and went above and beyond in terms of customizing my florals to my style, the venue and the season. I truly could not have pictured a more timeless, stunning, playful and creative floral design.

I also want to be sure to emphasize how helpful Becca was during the planning process. It’s so easy to get overwhelmed with choices when planning a wedding and in terms of coming up with unique ideas customized to the space we’d be in – everything she recommended ended up looking absolutely amazing. Especially in the two weeks leading up to the wedding, as the RSVP count fluctuated unpredictably and Hurricane Ian threatened to move the whole affair indoors, drastically changing the table lay-out, Becca was calm, cool and collected and had awesome solutions for everything.

Another thing to note is that we did a mock-up session (a bridal bouquet and centerpiece mock-up) and I’d highly recommend that too. It was a great opportunity to spend some time together, discuss all the options for what’s in season in fall and make adjustments if needed to ensure an awesome outcome on the day-of.

If my ramblings haven’t yet convinced you….seriously, stop looking. You’ve found your florist. You won’t be disappointed.

PS - I am currently in the process of preserving some of my florals so I can enjoy them for many years to come. 🙂So grateful.

I have absolutely loved working with the Lupins and Lava team. The first time was for my engagement, followed by my wedding. As a bride you are so overwhelmed with all of the big and small details, yet life was made simple and stress free on the day with such an amazing photographer. This time they also did floral work specifically for this shoot. Every detail was so intricate in magnifying the baby boy growing inside of me. I never knew something so simple as adding arrangements and nothing else would be so beautiful. You can see the care and love in each picture.

My experience with Lupins and Lava was simply wonderful. Our photographer, listened to all my needs and desires for what I wanted our wedding to look like. She made our very, small, intimate ceremony seem like a beautiful dream. I didn't have to worry about being creative on my big day along with every other detail, because she got all the little shots I never would have thought of. She also did an amazing job of incorporating my mom, who passed away a few months prior to the ceremony, into the memories. This company definitely has a way of capturing the moments you didn't even know were the absolute best memories that makes you eternally grateful that they thought to catch it. They also did some fall pictures of my family which were just stunning! They managed to capture our goofiness and love without being cheesy or overbearing. Little did we know, that day would be my mom's last birthday with us. I have those pictures in my living room to this day and remembering her in such a beautiful way means so much to me. Atalie from Lupins and Lava photographed our wedding in Atlanta in mid-June. We are so thrilled with how the photos turned out and spent our wedding day totally relaxed due to Atalie’s professional yet calm and casual demeanor. In planning, I remember being grateful that she was clear and honest about her recommendations for a wedding of our size, and did not simply try to upsell us (which everyone knows is sometimes the case). She effortlessly captured every key moment and a whole list of important family photos and portraits that we asked for. She delivered us a beautiful album of preview shots just two days after the wedding. She is funny, kind and very talented. We couldn’t be happier!

We had so much fun during our engagement photoshoot with Atalie! She was so personable and made the whole experience so natural and fun. Her work is absolutely wonderful and we can't wait to have Lupins & Lava be apart of our special day in April!
