The professional staff at the mansion will set all tables and chairs to your specifications. Larger rental items such as an arch, wine barrels, back drop, outdoor heaters, and gas fireplace are also available.

History

This astonishing mansion was originally maintained in the 1800s by businessman Arabut Ludlow and his wife Caroline. Known as Idle Hour Farm, it was one of Wisconsin’s primary grand agricultural estates and demonstrated many improvements in the farming techniques of the time. Additionally, the property had a reputation for training high level race horses and has been visited by several national horse-racing champions. The mansion was returned to its former glory by Ludlow’s granddaughter May Ludlow Luchsinger and her husband Frank in the 1930s. Today it is owned and operated by the Fedders Family who have developed it into a premier wedding destination.
