I cannot recommend Lovely Lemon Events enough! MaryKate was absolutely amazing all throughout the process and made my life so much easier with the planning for our wedding. We live in California and planned the wedding in New York and she made planning a wedding across the country SO much better than we thought it could ever be. She was always prompt in responses to questions we had and she had a caring and patient personality. The day of the wedding, MaryKate and her assistant, Emily, made the day flawless. My family members were coming up to me during the wedding day asking who these amazing girls were and wanted their information to work with them in the future. They even brought us cute restroom signs, dessert station sign, welcome sign, etc. I would highly recommend Lovely Lemon Events to anyone and am forever thankful to them for the beautiful job they did.

She was always there when I needed a sounding board, was stressed and needed to problem solve! She was so supportive through planning such a special days in our lives! Emily from lovely lemon events was a ROCKSTAR. She is knowlegable, patient, and kind. Throughout the process she made SURE that my wishes were carried out and took care of any little oversights I had been overlooking due to the obvious wedding stress. Our meetings over the phone were great, and she really started to shine when we met in person at our venue. She knew all the right questions to ask and offered to pitch in to fill gaps where needed (for example we borrowed her cake knife because we didn't want to buy one.) The day before and day of the wedding she was right there, taking care of everything. We had a snow storm the day before and she even made SURE the venue shoveled the sidewalks so we and our guests could access the chapel and reception hall. On the day of, she showed up early and with an assistant ready to go! Being a bride is hella stressful and I really appreciate that she tried her damndest to figure out small problems without bringing them to me so I could just enjoy getting ready with my bridal party. (I think there was some kind of last minute seating chart discrepency.) When it was go time, she got up on a chair and made sure to lay down the law and do crowd control to get everyone lined up where they were supposed to be. The ceremony was perfect and Emily suggested giving my husband and I a few moments alone after so we could catch our breath. Im so glad I listened to her because that was one of my favorite parts- taking it all in with my new husband while being dressed up and about to party! When the reception hit, Emily and her assistant monica made sure I had my specialty drink as soon as possible and kept my cup full all night long! It was truly the most magical day of my life and I couldn't have done it with out having a wedding planner. If you're thinking about it, DO IT. It's the gift you give yourself. 10/10 recommend.

We booked MaryKate for our July 2022 backyard wedding. After deciding we were going to do a backyard wedding, I knew I wanted a day-of-coordinator to facilitate everything. MaryKate was so much more than that. She communicated wonderfully with my other vendors, and we met my videographer and photographer for a meeting via zoom, all set up by MaryKate.

She communicated to our caterers, rental companies, and had contact information for people in my wedding party so if something went wrong, she'd know who to contact so she wouldn't bring stress to me on our wedding day. We worked together on the set-up of the backyard, and she ensured it was everything we wanted.

She was so much more than a "day-of-coordinator" because of all the work she was willing to do beforehand. She was available whenever I needed her (via zoom or phone call)! She provided us with suggestions when necessary, but never waivered from what WE wanted on our special day. She (and her assistant) were working ALL DAY on our wedding day. They arrived first thing when we were getting ready, and I left my wedding before she did. They stayed to help clean up and made sure everything was in order.

If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. We weren't sure if we needed a wedding coordinator, but it would have been the biggest mistake if we hadn't hired Lovely Lemon Events. MaryKate made the entire day so stress-free for us so we could truly be present and have the most incredible wedding. Throughout the wedding we had friends and family coming up to us, complimenting what a wonderful job MaryKate was doing. She ensured our ceremony and reception were set up exactly how we wanted, kept the timeline running smoothly and helped take down everything at the end of the night so we could continue celebrating with loved ones. She even went above and beyond, doing things we didn't expect, like getting us drinks throughout the night! From our very first phone conversations I felt so comfortable and the excitement only heightened as we worked together to come up with ideas to execute our wedding perfectly. On the day-of they were an amazing support network that were SO talented at helping my vision come to life. They set up our beautiful backyard wedding oasis perfectly and quickly, helped me set up florals at our altar and even helped pivot when a surprise rain shower came through during our reception.
