I love spending time in the woods at my cabin in Northern Michigan. I enjoy kayaking the Little Manistee river as well as two-tracking through the woods on my side-by-side. A few of my favorite things include music, motorcycles and manhattans. My most beloved trip so far was my time spent in Ireland touring the countryside in a rental car and enjoying some great whiskey and wine. I can still smell the fresh air! I became a travel advisor because I have a passion for making people happy. My success stems from being a great listener with attention to detail which allows me to deliver excellence to my clients each and every time. I look forward to serving you!

I am originally from Wyoming but currently travel all over the U.S. for my husband’s work. In my free time, I love learning and reading everything under the sun--there isn’t a book, article, or blog that has escaped my attention. I also enjoy many outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, fishing, and golfing; my husband and I are always busy with a new adventure outside. My two children, Jessica and Ty, are all grown up and are off living their best lives, so my husband and I spend a portion of our free time playing video games with them, as a way to enjoy some “family time”. My passion for travel began to develop from a young age, as my mother would always include me in on her church retreats, and as I grew to be an adult, that passion only grew to be more intense. My children and husband shower my days with sunshine and inspire me daily to pursue my dreams.

Lauren has been traveling the globe for years and is obsessed with finding new cool places to visit and experiences to be had. She often plans customized trips for friends and family and thought, why not get them some great deals and exclusive perks? Now she's able to do what she loves and uses her passion to make others vacations unforgettable!

From a young age I have known two things: I love to help others and I love to travel/go on adventures. Throughout my childhood, my passions were fed with family trips and various school organizations, as well as volunteering opportunities. While attending college at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), I was able to dive deeper into other cultures around the world in my anthropology studies and this fueled my desire to explore the world and all it has to offer. Entering the professional world, I have had countless opportunities to help others in my career and I've always found that to be my favorite part of any job that I've had. In 2019 I became a Mom. My husband and I knew from the beginning that we wanted to raise our little one to be adventurous and to seek new experiences via traveling. And while it isn't always easy to travel with a baby, we took our first family trip to Turks and Caicos in February 2020. Let me tell you - it was SO worth it! I am so excited at the opportunity to combine my life passions in my role as a Travel Byrd. I want to help you expand your worldview through travel and make your adventure-seeking dreams come true!

Travel has always been part of my life from a very young age. I have lived and studied in seven different countries and have traveled extensively throughout Europe and Asia.

I truly believe that travel enables you to widen your horizon and appreciate what life has to offer.

I chose to become a Travel Advisor so that I can share my passion for travel and enable others to experience all the beauty this world has to offer.

Two of the things that I love the most are seeing the excitement on people’s faces as they embark on their dream vacation as well as for me personally......eating my way around the world!
