Services Were Lacking

I hired Lou Lou Avenue for my wedding on October 12 in Apple Hill. Alrhought she was very nice during our initial phone calls it would take her several days to respond and usually responded after a follow up reminder. I was told she would handle the coordination with my vendors at the 2 week mark. Many of my vendors told me they had not heard from her until a couple days before and I still had to provide them most of the information. During the rehearsal things were very rushed. I did have a rather large wedding party (8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen) they all felt it was chaotic and unorganized. When I brought this to her attention after the wedding she said she did the best she could with my “lively” wedding party which felt insulting to me. After the rehearsal she spent 10 minutes with me to go over my vision for decorations. I was a little worried about that but she assured me she understood. In my wedding day she only allowed her self 2.5 hours to set everything up. Guest arrival was at 3 and there will always be those people that show up early. She arrived to set up at noon. When my bridal party and I arrived at the venue there were still things not set up. My photo frame that was to be set up for guests to snap a Polaroid picture for the guest book was disassembled and laying against a tree. When I had my sister go ask her about it she frantically told her “I am doing the best I can”. Then after the ceremony I saw the photo frame tucked behind a guest table and had to ask her to go place it by the cameras. Serveral members from the bridal party stated she was frantic and unorganized during the wedding. She forgot to pass out the dried flowers for guests to toss as we walked back up the aisle. At one point she was shouting at the photographer about dinner being late because of pictures and I had to assure her that was ok. When it was time to cut the cake I discovered that our cake topper had not been placed the whole time which was sad because I had a custom one made. Also we had a cute axe as our cutter since we were in the woods and that was also missing. She had to scramble and go find it in front of everyone. After that she disappeared for a bit and I found myself coordinating then next couple events: bouquet and garter toss and first dance. She showed up at the end of the night to let me know my friends was securing the cash and cards which was something I specifically asked her to secure after dinner and she agreed. Luckily I did not let her lack of service or frantic behavior tarnish my magical night. I did not hear from her after the wedding. Not even a congratulations. I emailed her finally after a week and laid out what I was disappointed about and ask for a refund. She responded with a lower amount and an excuse for everything I mentioned.At least I got a minimal amount refunded. Just want to share this review as all the ones I found were 5 star and I was greatly dissatisfied with her services and her professional.

She was Amazing!

I got married to my best friend this past October and Lyzza was a great addition to our special day. Lyzza was super responsive, helpful, and provided me options that helped me feel supported. She was quick on her feet, full of energy, and some-how managed to handle every last minute request with ease. It definitely did not go unnoticed. Our guests asked me a few times throughout the night who she was because they were impressed at her hard work and dedication. Lyzza helped me day become one of the best days of my life. I genuinely couldn’t have been more grateful for her support and expertise. Thank you Lyzza!

The amazing lyzza

There’s really no words to describe how grateful I am for Lyzza and all the hard work she did to make sure my day ran smoothly. She made sure to fix all the small background hiccups flawlessly without me even knowing there was something wrong. Lyzza is so kind, sweet, organized, and an amazing person to have by your side on your big day. You will not have to worry about anything but looking beautiful and having fun because Lyzza will make sure everything else is what you envisioned. I would 100% recommend her to EVERYONE!
