Located in one of the few remaining apricot orchards of Santa Clara Valley, the Los Altos History Museum explores the rich history of local people and how the use of the land over time has transformed the agricultural paradise once known as the "Valley of Heart’s Delight" into the high technology hub of today’s Silicon Valley. The J. Gilbert Smith History House is located on one of the last active apricot orchards in the Santa Clara Valley. This 1905 shingled farm house was built with many Craftsman-style features.

Beautiful event setting!

I had my wedding at this gorgeous venue and received so many compliments from friends. The venue requires that you select your own vendors (they have recommended caterers who know the venue well) which can be more work than choosing a venue that comes with a package, but I chose this because it allowed for more creativity.
We had our wedding in early august and enjoyed a beautiful warm evening. The event coordinator for the venue was always responsive and helpful. Parking was easy for the guests as well. We are so happy we had our wedding here!

Gorgeous venue, picture perfect wedding

Aside from the beautiful scenery and location, Mark, the events coordinator was the selling point for us choosing this venue. He’s been doing this for several years so he had answers to every question we could possibly think of. He was also super responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue!

We loved working with and having our wedding at the Los Altos History Museum! The venue fit our needs perfectly - a Napa style wedding with the near-home convenience. Truly a magical night!
