Situated at the top of Lincoln Park, the Legion of Honor is a museum wedding venue located in San Francisco, California. Constructed to commemorate California’s soldiers, this stunning Beaux-arts building is one of the most iconic sights in San Francisco. Facilities and Capacity
For your special day, the Legion of Honor can be rented in its entirety or you can book individual rooms and galleries. Ceremony spots are numerous and include outside on the Balustrade Lawn, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands. You can also exchange your vows surrounded by white columns and Rodin’s Thinker in the Court of Honor, which can seat 500. Intimate ceremonies are held in the Rodin Galleries, while the John A. and Cynthia Fry Gunn Theater has backstage dressing rooms for getting ready. Receptions can be hosted in the Rodin Galleries, the Court of Honor with tenting, and the Terrace Level. This Terrace Level houses the Hall of Antiquities, the Café, and a patio where you can sip cocktails with loved ones. If you book the whole museum, you will be able to customize these gorgeous spaces to suit your needs and preferences.

Services Offered
Most ceremony and reception sites are available starting at six o’clock or six-thirty, as the Legion of Honor is open during the day. However, the museum is closed on Mondays, so events can begin at an earlier time on those days. Outside catering must come from one of the venue’s preferred vendors, for which a list will be provided. These eateries will serve gourmet food and drinks that capture the flavors and abundance of the California coastal region.
