5 of 5 Stars. Farmstead by Long Meadow Ranch is simply the best. Hosting our destination wedding ceremony & reception in Napa Valley provides a myriad of opportunities when it comes to venue selection. But choosing a place with an amazing outdoor setting, an outstanding culinary experience and a team of dedicated professionals is not an easy task, except for Farmstead. Since our engagement two years to the date of the reception – and having done substantial business with Long Meadow Ranch while working in hospitality at home in Boston, MA, we knew we wanted to incorporate Farmstead and showcase a true farm to table celebration with our family & friends. The Live Fire Family Style menu was a culinary masterpiece, perfectly paired with fresh seasonal flavors straight from the Long Meadow Ranch Rutherford Farm. While many team members were involved over those two years, each member of the Farmstead staff was dedicated to making our wedding a success. Special thanks to Brad Groper at Long Meadow Ranch and the entire Farmstead team both present & past: Alejandra, Evan, Elise as well as Chef’s Steven & Dan for taking care of us day of and in the days and weeks leading up, and Rebecca, Alexia & Jessica who had assisted us in a multitude of ways throughout the engagement!

We had an incredible time at Long Meadow Ranch for our rehearsal dinner this past Friday. They were super easy to work with, and were able to make an extra batch of our specialty cocktail on the spot when we ran out. Alejandra is super professional and easy to work with, and super responsive via email whenever we needed to make any changes. 10/10 would highly recommend them for their beautiful venue and friendly staff. Be sure to get the bonfire with the smores that was a huge hit!

We were lucky enough to have our wedding reception at Farmstead in June 2023 and we can’t recommend it highly enough. From start to finish, the entire team was a dream to work with. Although we had several event coordinators over the course of our two-year engagement, the transition between each was seamless - a sure sign that Farmstead has a great system in place to support its event services! They have an online portal which makes coordinating contracts, payments, and planning a breeze. The property is stunning and offers so many different options for cocktail hour, ceremony, music, and dancing. The team was so accommodating of allergies, special diets, and cultural/traditional decoration requests (hanging 1,000 paper cranes)! They also have access to the first two rows of the adjacent vineyard, in case you have your heart set on some couples pictures amongst the vines! It is clear that this team knows what they are doing and we felt so supported through the entire planning process, which was (shockingly) stress-free.
The real highlight of having our wedding at Farmstead was the food, wine, and service. The menu tasting was one of the best dining experiences my husband and I have had anywhere, and choosing just a few of the items for our final menu was such a challenge as everything was mind-blowingly delicious. So many of our guests have told us that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, and the service was absolutely top notch all night. And of course, the wine was perfect and we can’t wait to open a bottle of their Pinot Noir on our anniversary!

Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch was the perfect wedding venue! The team was fantastic to work with from the beginning to the end, and they did an excellent job coordinating everything both leading up to the day and the day of. They were very responsive, especially in the final weeks, which was very helpful and reassuring. The food is the best wedding food you’ll ever have. We also wanted to have a private meal after our ceremony which the team graciously accommodated. The staff onsite for the event was fantastic and made everything go smoothly. There was one incident that came up and the team handled it swiftly, kindly and very professionally. Our guests had a great time and I was very happy with my experience. I can’t recommend Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch highly enough!!

Our wedding fell on a day where there was rain and initially we were so stressed about it but the team at Farmstead really worked hard to find us a tent last minute. Our family and friends had so much fun at our wedding. Until now our friends keep telling us how good the food was and how much fun they had.

As we all know, wedding planning is no small feat! We worked with Rebecca and her team and they are some of the nicest and most helpful people you can find in the wedding planning industry. My husband and I got so lucky with booking Farmstead for our wedding venue because everyone at Farmstead was so responsive, professional, they answered all of our questions and concerns, and they seriously made the planning process a lot more manageable than we anticipated, especially with a wedding as large as ours (220 guests)! The events team is so organized; they were on top of all the wedding details such as chairs, tables, linens, menus, dinner and cocktail hour layouts, and they also worked with our vendors to make sure their equipment can be accomodated! Farmstead has such a beautiful venue as well, so we did not have to worry much about decorating the place. The lawn has beautiful string lights above the dinner tables and a beautiful surrounding garden, it didn't feel like we were next to the busy Main Street! 

Not to mention the food!!! We had such a great menu tasting it was difficult to choose between the dishes, we ended up upgrading our dinner package to include the Pork Loin and an additional side! Our guests did pretty good damage to the food as we did not have too much left over. Everything flew by so quickly on the day of! The execution team was so quick and efficient when flipping the lawn from ceremony to reception, the place looked perfect! It wasn't until we sat down for dinner that we realized that everything had gone so smoothly, we didn't even think of worrying about any details that may have slipped through the cracks. I'm a little sad that our wedding is over now, but could not be happier with the results from working and planning with Farmstead. It truly has been a delight working with Rebecca and her team, they really made the process a smooth one, as well as pleasureable!

Farmstead hosted our wedding in May 2019 and we were so happy with everything they offered. From the professional staff we worked with to the impeccable food and location, we wouldn't have changed a thing! The venue offers so many different locations for ceremonies as well as different packages that will fit your needs. The ability to have the wedding both inside and outside allowed us to utilize the fantastic weather but also keep the party going late night in the barn. Even though there is a restaurant right next door, the entire wedding felt private and the space/view is top notch.

I have to say we're biased because we were members of the winery already but beyond this, they made this a special day. This didn't feel like a venue, it felt like our community. The food knocked it out of the park, the service and the wine. I hesitate to shout out to specific people but there were several that not only stood out but absolutely saved our wedding day. Your special day is in safe hands with them.

We had a fun wine tasting and lunch for guests attending my wedding weekend. Farmstead did a great job and everyone had a good time.

I can not recommend this vendor highly enough! Long Meadow Ranch, Farmstead, Event coordinator Elizabeth and the entire LMR / Farmstead staff made or special day absolutely perfect. Their professionalism and attention to detail is second to none. We were even pleasantly surprised with details throughout the evening that we didn't even realize were included in our proposal. The food was AMAZING! Not "wedding food" amazing but one of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. The outdoor Venue was immaculate, even after receiving a ton of rain days prior. Flexible, fair, responsive, fun, I can not jam enough adjectives in to this review to tell you how great the experience at LMR was. Above anything else it's really was the staff and service that made everything so insanely perfect. These are some of the greatest folks I ever had the chance to work with and have serve us on our wedding day. We were introduced to everyone, even the amazing chef that prepared our meal. LMR and Farmstead really made us feel like family. We plan on spending many anniversaries with the great people at LMR and can not wait to go back.
