What is a Country Wedding?
Did you ever dream of getting married in a beautiful setting, next to a crystal clear lake, with your friends and family in attendance, all able to walk down to the ceremony from their own rustic cabin in the woods? Your dream of a country wedding can come true!
Loch Lyme Lodge in the small Norman Rockwell-like town of Lyme, New Hampshire is your dream destination. With 20 rustic cabins of various sizes on 120 acres of fields and woods next to a beautiful mountain lake, your wedding will be the envy of all.
There are plenty of activities to keep your party entertained during the weekend, including swimming, boating, kayaking, and fishing on the lake, tennis and basketball, hiking, horseshoe pits, and a roaring lake side campfire to gather around as night sets in.
Many brides and grooms have commented that the Lodge was able to bring two families close together by shared experience on the grounds, beach, and facilities. Not an ordinary hotel - people find their own fun here, and often return for vacation in the years after.

We had looked for quite some time for a wedding venue before we came across Loch Lyme Lodge. And my gosh is it a hidden gem of a place. Jay was an absolutely wonderful person to work with; he answered our questions without delay and helped us in any way he could to put together the wedding of our dreams--low-key, rustic, and lots of room for creativity. Jay provided a huge amount of kid- and adult-friendly activities and was around throughout the day, helping us check in all of our guests and answering any questions that came up. The lake was absolutely beautiful and having the canoes and kayaks there gave us the opportunity to hold a cool triathlon-style race as one of our pre-wedding activities. We had countless compliments from guests saying how incredible the venue was and that it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. Thank you, Jay, for everything you did to make this happen! Everyone else, please consider Loch Lyme Lodge as your wedding venue. It was the best decision we could have made.Sent on 07/14/2018

Jay and Amy are amazing people and they were so great to work with for our wedding. LLL was the first and only place we visited because once we saw the gorgeous grounds and talked with Jay we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. The people are spectacular and everyone we encountered at LLL seemed genuinely thrilled to help us get married. The cabins were immaculate and the grounds were well kept. Our guests loved the venue and everyone had a wonderful weekend. If you are looking to have a rustic New Hampshire wedding, we enthusiastically recommend you go to Loch Lyme Lodge. We’re already trying to figure out when we can go back!Sent on 08/15/2015

This is the best place to have a wedding!!! We rented out the whole place for the weekend and gave all our guest a mini-vacation. The place is just breathtaking. We got married right in front of the lake and had our reception behind the barn. Everything was perfect. Everyone got to swim in the lake, use the lodge's rowboats, big open field for the kids to play during the reception. We even had a nice big fire for everyone after the reception. The cabins were perfect! This place was perfect and laidback. All the guests had fun and have told us that this was the best wedding they had have ever gone too. I highly recommend getting married here. It is worth it.Sent on 08/18/2013
