Nicki & her husband, Brian, were so wonderful to work with as our photography team for our wedding day. We knew we wanted someone with an artful eye, and looking at their work convinced us that they would capture special moments on our day in a thoughtful and beautiful way, and they did just that. I loved that they were a husband and wife team so that Brian was able to be with my husband-to-be and his groomsmen as they were getting ready, while Nicki was with me and my gals capturing our special moments. I had a number of questions leading up to the wedding, and Nicki was easily reachable by email and was super helpful in guiding us on how to structure our time for photos on the big day.

Nicki and Brian are amazing!! They are so genuine, kind and talented - they really are the best team you could hope to work with. Our engagement photos were gorgeous but our wedding photos...WOW! They perfectly captured all the emotions & special moments of our wedding day. Even in moments that feel rushed or fleeting, they manage to capture the magic. We haven't been able to easily pick favorites because every photo is stunning. So happy we found and chose them to be our photographers and you will be too.

Y'all, I can't even begin to tell you how amazing our experience was with Nicki and Brian. Photography was the most important thing for us, and we were so lucky to stumble across Livelight on the Knot. They were the first vendor we picked, and with good reason! From the moment Nicki called us to get to know us before we even booked, we knew we would be in good hands, but we are still floored with how happy we are with our photography. Nicki was ready to travel all over the state with us to make sure we had the perfect location for our pictures, and it paid off in spades. She kept us happy and focused while an entire mountain's worth of spectators watched us take our engagement photos and still made us look like we were the only people on earth. Our feedback from friends and strangers alike was that we looked like we were movie stars (we don't), and that they had never seen such beautiful pictures. We just recently got our photos from our wedding, and they are nothing short of perfect. Nicki has this knack for taking the ordinary, most natural moments and keeping them ordinary but managing to emphasize how perfect that is. All the emotion we felt throughout the day was conveyed in our pictures for us to remember. She also worked with the light to give us just our style, not too polished or perfect, somewhat artistic, but not obnoxiously over-processed or contrived. Additionally, Nicki was in contact with us frequently throughout our engagement, giving us things to think about over time, rather than as a last minute crunch, and putting us at ease that she had not forgotten our big day. She was quick answering all of our questions, and put up with our multiple venue changes when booking. We paid a totally middle of the road fee and received superior quality and service. Best. Choice. Ever.

To say that we were happy with the products of Livelight Photography would be an absolute understatement. Not only did we have the pleasure of working with them for our engagement session, they also shot our wedding, which happened to be in our hometown, 600 miles away from our current residence. The beautiful memories that were captured are nothing short of magical. Working with them was easy, professional, and so much fun. They are wonderful and beautiful souls and we cannot wait to work with them again in the future to capture all of our special moments. ??

Nicki is THE best. I don’t even know where to begin with how pleased I’ve been with my LiveLight Photography experience. For starters, she is extremely responsive and attentive to inquiries and questions. She is professional, timely, and incredibly flexible. This aside, Nicki and Brian are unbelievably talented. She took photos (and he helped edit them) for two events of mine and I couldn’t have been even a tiny bit happier. Their work is gorgeous.

My highest priority was finding someone whose style was candid. I really didn’t want standard “posed” photography for our big day. My expectations were exceeded. I had very small “courthouse” wedding that took place on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Only a few people were there to witness it, but the photos tell the story of our special day. Everyone who has seen the photographs has been so impressed and it has little to do with us. I’ve been asked repeatedly who took our pictures and that they are “so classy” and very “old Hollywood.” They embody something I never envisioned. Somehow, she made us shine. My husband and I don’t photograph particularly well, and honestly, you would never know. She managed to produce amazing photo after amazing photo. Somehow while doing all of this, she was also unobtrusive. She strikes an incredible balance of staying back and letting things unfold naturally, while comfortably "unsticking" situations that need to be helped along.

My husband always says that if I love something, you’re going to know it. I will talk up any good experience I have, any great food I eat, or any product I find worthwhile. I’m dying to do this about LiveLight photography except we live in different states, so it’s harder to tell people, “YOU HAVE TO HIRE THEM,” even though I want to tell everyone. I wish I could hire her for every major event in my life to capture all the beauty she finds around her.

Book these amazing photographers well in advance! They know what they're doing and are very professional, but have such a passion for people and (obviously) photography. They truly captured the love we share, as well as the love surrounding us. My husband and I could not have been happier with our photos of such an amazing day - they were there through it all, and captured some beautiful moments that I had even forgotten about. Planning is hard - this is an easy choice. Nicki & Brian are absolutely wonderful (and fun) and make everyone feel at ease. I have no doubt you will love them just as much as we did!!

Nicki and Brian have a very special gift. They captured the essence of the entire day in so many ways. They are true artists and found the special moments, not just between us, but moments with our guests and families. They took the most beautiful photos of the surroundings and summarized every aspect of the day beautifully through their amazing photography.
