We hired Kristen for our big day and it was the best decision! We had a bridal party of 24 people and let me tell you , Kristen did an AMAZING job keeping everyone and everything on track. I had a vision of what my day would look like and Kristen made it happen and captured it perfectly. The pictures are fabulous and show how perfect our day was . Couldn’t thank kristen enough for being a huge part of our special day .

I hired Kristen for a surprise proposal photoshoot to my then-girlfriend. She was super commutative and organized the whole way through. The photos she took came out so great, that we decided to hire her for our wedding as well. Throughout the busy wedding day, she was super grounded and procedural, even doing the tough job of herding people for large groups photos. She never appeared to be flustered or overwhelmed, always being her chill down to earth self. Her photos came out absolutely extraordinary as well. So glad we got the chance to work with her twice!

I can't recommend Kristen enough for wedding photography. We chose Kristen for our partnering ceremony last June and she was truly above and beyond. Extremely communicative and helpful leading up to the day, amazing attention to detail on the actual day, and amazing flexibility and support! On the day of, our venue got off from the timeline pretty significantly, which was a source of huge stress for us. Kristen seemed to be able to tell that we were overwhelmed, and she stepped up to coordinate with the DJ/MC vendor to get us back on track. It was incredible and so above and beyond. The photographs were everything we could have wanted, and a year later we are still so in love with them. I think the most important thing to note is that Kristen is a vendor with a lot of integrity. We never felt like just another client - it really always felt like we were the most important couple Kristen had ever worked with, and she moved with such high integrity throughout the entire ordeal.

I have not been able to stop looking at our sneak peak photos since I received them! I was so nervous the day of our wedding (literally to the point of shaking uncontrollably lol) & Kristen made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and it shows in our breathtaking photos!! We did a small elopement with just our kids and moms present with us and she captured all the love in our intimate ceremony. Not only was she our amazing photographer, but our officiant as well. 10/10 experience all around and would recommend her to anyone!! Thank you so much for helping make our day so perfect!! Picking Kristen of Little but Fierce Photography as our wedding photographer ended up being the easiest wedding decision we made. As bride & groom we just showed up and enjoyed our wedding. The resulting photos show how active Kristen was, we can’t believe it was one person who took all those photos! Her understanding of angles and lighting resulted in beautiful artistic photos, and she made sure the bride and groom’s completely different skin colors look natural in the photos. She has fantastic situational awareness to notice what moments to capture. We got married on September 3, 2022 in the Hudson Valley. From the beginning of wedding planning to the receipt of our full gallery, Kristen was a dream! When I first saw her gallery, I fell in love with the playful, joyous energy that she captures and, after first meeting with her, we both knew there was no other choice. I was so comfortable talking with Kristen—she makes you feel at ease and is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I also appreciated how communicative, straightforward and clear she was throughout the planning process to make sure every detail, every portrait, every pose that we wanted was included. It’s so easy to feel overwhelmed with wedding planning, or like “you’re not doing it right,” but with Kristen planning was made easier because she made it a collaborative process—she listened to our vision and what we liked/didn’t like, and offered suggestions based on her experience. We tried to skirt the line between a “traditional” and “nontraditional” day, and Kristen was on board every step of the way. It made me extra comfortable to see how publicly she supports LGBTQIA+ plus weddings—I think it’s important not only for the couple, but for the guests, too, to work with a photographer keen on celebrating everyone.On the wedding day itself, Kristen kept everyone to schedule, had us laughing, and was excited to explore some hidden spots of the venue with us. She saved the day for me, too, when I had a near catastrophe—almost tumbling in the mud before the ceremony, and thinking I tore my dress’s sleeves : \ She kept cool, re-fastened my sleeve, and got heel savers right away to help me navigate our outdoor ceremony.

We received our photos in record time, even with a wedding that was right before peak wedding season. I am obsessed with our gallery: she captured the full range of emotions for the day with a perfect mix of portraits and candid shots. I think she took a photo of nearly all of our 120 guests! The compositions, colors, and poses that she coordinated are stunning. I have been reliving the day since receiving the gallery! You definitely can’t go wrong with booking Little But Fierce. From the Groom: Kristen was fantastic to work with. As someone who can be self-conscious in front of the camera, her straightforward and simple directions really made it easy and fun to get our photos taken. She was open to our ideas on locations and poses, and executed them amazingly. I really liked her style of photography which captured the fun, spontaneous moments of our wedding, along with the group and couple portraits. I appreciate how organized she was in keeping on top of the wedding schedule - getting us the best lighting during the afternoon and evening hours without feeling like she was taking up all our time from the fun!. Also, I really liked how she planned ahead in getting pictures of various family and friend groups so that there were no questions or confusion during the photoshoots. Her ability to adapt to the different energies of us, the couple, the wedding parties, and family members allowed her to capture our unique relationships to each other. She also was able to include all of our guests in at least one photo, which is really something when looking back on that special day! Booking Kristen was one of the best moves we made for our wedding!

Not only is she so talented and possesses such a creative eye, she’s also kind and comforting to work with. I’m not usually comfortable in front of a camera but she was so incredible at putting us at ease and making it fun.

She knows how to get shots that are beautiful, true to you, and unique. I’m so happy with how our photos turned out and how well they represent us. None of them feel stale and basic as wedding photos can be sometimes. She’s also a master at getting those candid shots.

It’s also important to stress how open-minded and accepting Kristen is. She’ll make sure anyone and everyone feels special and relaxed.

Working with Kristen was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I found her on Instagram and was impressed with her style. Her photos are beautiful and vibrant, not overly lightened or stiffly posed. She did our engagement session and after we postponed for COVID, she still stayed in touch to answer all our questions. On the wedding day, she and Dana worked super hard. They were very chill, efficient, flexible with our large family size, and didn't make people stand still too long when it was their turn for pics. Kristen even came to the rescue when my bustle broke, and used her emergency sewing kit to make me a new one! She also stayed about 20 minutes after her contract time was up, to make sure we got all the photos we wanted. The pictures turned out beautiful and she finished editing them a bit quicker than we expected. We are so happy we hired Little But Fierce and couldn't have made a better choice.

Kristen was amazing! I worked with Kristen for a photoshoot for my surprise proposal to my fiance back in October of 2020. She really knows the upstate area. She gave great feedback and confidence in the chosen location and feedback on logistics for the morning. She did a great job of posing as a random person to avoid giving away the surprise. And, she had a lot of great ideas of where to take photos and in what poses in the subsequent hour long photo shoot. We loved all the photos we received after the photoshoot and would 100% work with her again!
