My husband and I were very happy with our overall experience with Little America. Our Little America contact, Sara, was so helpful with every step of planning before the wedding, double and triple checked important details each step of our wedding weekend, and did a great job making sure everything was how we wanted it. The outdoor wedding ceremony was quickly setup to our specific liking with access for decorating hours before. They gave us power for sound outside and a skirted table for our candle lighting. Our reception room was beautiful and our dinner was even better. The banquet staff attention to clean up after dinner was a little slow than we liked; however, we felt the evening overall went very smooth. Guests were happy with room accommodations and other nice amenities of this venue. Compared to other venues in the region (including Colorado), we felt the elegant wedding and reception we received at Little America was definitely a great deal.

Great experience with Little America!

The ball room was beautiful and the getting ready rooms as well as the sleeping rooms were very clean and spacious! Hannah the event coordinator did a great job helping us with allergy accommodations and helping to make our wedding a great experience. The service from the people at Little America was just excellent. We would recommend Little America Hotel & Resorts to anyone looking to spend the night or hold an event!

Little America did a great job with our wedding. Heather did an outstanding job coordinating everything and the banquet staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. The food was good and my guests were very comfortable throughout the day. Looking back, I am really happy we chose Little America as they really did a great job.

Harnack wedding

We had our wedding on the North lawn which was perfect for us and had the reception in the Wyoming room, which is beautiful. The only issue we had was with the food, it is super expensive for what you get. The assorted sandwiches come with almost nothing inside of them (one was egg salad) and the bread was hard. I would have catering done by someone else but as for the venue itself, I would have it here again.

I had numerous problems with the Sales and Catering staff throughout the entire planning of my rehearsal, but my final coordinater, Heather, was phenomenal! She went above and beyond to make sure my day was everything I dreamed it would be. The final reception was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have asked for more!! Everything went smoothly and the food was delicious! We had a lot less people come to the rehearsal than we had planned, so it would have been nice of them to box up the food we had paid for and give it to us rather than throw it away.

Overall we loved having our wedding ceremony and reception at the little america, the only downfall was the cost. It was pretty expensive and there kept being little extra costs that would pop up. I thought they would include more in the quote so when it cost us more than what was quoted it kind of made things a bit rough. Other than that it is a gorgeous place and they do a good job putting everything on!

Taylor Wedding

We had a wedding with less than 100 people. On the menu it states you receive a salad, an entree, and a dessert. They did not provide us with dessert and when asked they stated they waived the cake cutting fee of $3/slice in place of. We didn't even have a cake! We had cupcakes. They charge a ridiculous amount for "corking fee" "service fee" "cake cutting fee" etc. Also, we didn't have everyone show up and not once did they offer to box up our food but sent it home with the staff when we never approved it. I'm so disappointed in how the whole thing went. Please also note that we discussed our wedding in detail multiple times and I never approved not getting our dessert that CAME with our meal choice. They kind of made up rules as they went. I do not recommend. Also, their rooms are extremely out dated and not clean. Save your money or spend a bit more for a nicer venue.

If there was another venue, I would’ve gone there.

Everything was great leading up to the last few days before the wedding and then things kind of fell apart. The hotel lost my parents’ reservation so they were out of a room for the whole weekend. Luckily my husband and I live in Cheyenne and they could stay at our house. We were supposed to have a cocktail hour with a bar outside and then a bar inside for dinner. There was one, ONE bartender for the entire night. Our introductions and then the rest of our timeline was screwed up due to the huge line at the bar! We gave them a sheet cake to keep in the kitchen to cut after our wedding cake. Instead it was out in the ballroom and was cut first so now I have this giant cake in my refrigerator that was one piece missing that he and I cut. If there was another venue available, I’d recommend that over this.
