There aren’t enough words to describe how thankful I am to have hired Lisa for my wedding day hair and makeup at the Griffin House in Hood River, OR this summer!

As a more introverted person who was also afraid of looking too “done up” for my wedding, I felt so comfortable with Lisa from our first point of contact. It felt like she really made an effort during our intro call to try to get to know me and understand what I wanted from the whole experience!

A particular highlight was being able to do a complimentary skincare consultation with Lisa (who’s also an esthetician!) 3 months before the wedding. Even over Zoom, she helped me to understand that my skin type was a bit different from what I thought it was, and put together a personalized skincare dossier with some excellent product recommendations.

As for the hair and makeup, I could not have been more pleased with the whole experience! I think the key to the way Lisa works is that she makes a true effort to build a rapport between herself and the to-be-wed during your trial so that you can collaborate more effortlessly on determining the right look. Because we spent adequate time just getting to know each other, I felt more comfortable telling her when I wanted to tweak something, which resulted in a final look I was really excited about. We did a completely different hair look the day of my wedding than the day of my trial, but I had complete trust in Lisa to execute the new style because we could communicate openly on what I wanted to change!

Beyond Lisa’s professionalism, amazing skills, and an insane wealth of knowledge on all things skincare, style references from specific eras, etc., she is also just a lovely, kind, and fun person to have by your side on your wedding day. (She made sure someone brought me snacks while I sat in the chair for 2 hours—she really watches out for you!)

I felt so beautiful and comfortable in my skin on my wedding day, all thanks to Lisa, who also did my mom and my sister’s makeup, in addition to my grandma’s hair.

Lisa is a true gem, and I won’t hesitate to reach out to her again when I need a skincare refresh or other makeup needs. Cannot recommend her enough to others who want to feel like the most beautiful versions of themselves on their wedding day!

Where do I even begin?! I'll start with: LISA IS AN ANGEL. I booked her for my August 2025 wedding, and it was, without a doubt, one of the best decisions I could have made. From the initial skincare consultation to the trial to the email check-ins to the wedding day and after, Lisa has changed how I care for my skin and how I see myself. During our initial skincare consultation, she helped put together a skincare routine that I am still using to this day. Being in my late 30s, I had never found a routine that I could stick with for very long. The products she recommended have transformed my skin, and my morning/night routine is something that I truly look forward to as a time to decompress and care for myself. Lisa not only cares about your skin for your wedding day; she cares about it for your life. In addition to skincare, she made me feel like an absolute queen on my wedding day. I'm an introverted girlie and being the center of attention was something that I was SO nervous for. Lisa made me feel so authentically comfortable and myself. The makeup was impeccable and elegant and natural and felt incredible all the way through to the afterparty. My hair lasted through one of the windiest days in Hood River (and she secured my veil in a way I never thought possible) but still managed to feel natural and soft. I can't even explain it. Incredible. Lisa has such a wealth of knowledge and is such a dream to work with. And on top of her top-notch skills, she is also just a good human being. I couldn't recommend her more. Seriously.

Lisa was absolutely incredible. From the skincare consultation, to the makeup trial, to the actual day of my wedding she was informative, professional, and also just so much fun to hang out with. The vibes were right all day and as an added bonus my skin has never been clearer after starting the personalized skincare routine she gave me.

I was unsure where to even start looking for hair/makeup for my Costa Rican wedding and reached out to Lisa just a few months before my March wedding, after finding her on Wedding Wire. She got back to me quickly and we scheduled a quick call before I booked her for my hair and makeup, along with my two sisters' makeup. She was extremely easy to work with and guided me through the process since I did not have a very specific idea of what I wanted for my hair updo. She arrived on time, set everything up in our hotel suite and made me feel very comfortable. I loved my hair and makeup. She made me feel beautiful while still looking like myself and not caking on a ton of makeup on. I had a stress breakout the week of the wedding and she was able to cover it up, and both my hair and makeup survived the Costa Rica heat and humidity until 3am. I would definitely recommend her. Lisa is an absolute genius! She deeply understands the connection between climate and makeup and made me feel more beautiful than ever. I had my wedding in the heat of Costa Rica and she created a look that outlasted sweat and tears. My only regret is that she doesn’t live closer to me, otherwise I’d hire her for every event. Such a rockstar and a genuinely beautiful and intelligent person inside and out.

Booking Lisa was the best choice I ever made for my wedding! She is the friendliest person I've ever met and hyped me up every chance she got and made me feel SO beautiful. On top of being a great person and very skilled artist, she was very communicative, organized, and professional. For both my trial and wedding day I saw her sterilize all surfaces, products, and tools she used. On the day of the wedding, she prioritized my needs and advocated for me to other vendors. She truly understands the perfect experience for her clients.

Having Lisa as my wedding day fairy godmother was one of the best decisions I made for my big day. From the moment Lisa stepped in, she brought a wave of calm and professionalism. She didn't just do my hair and makeup impeccably, creating a romantic and timeless look but also went above and beyond. Her willingness to assist with getting dressed (including very skilled application of boob tape!) truly shows her dedication to her clients.

The transformation for my reception was just as magical—while we sipped cocktails, she effortlessly re-styled my hair into gorgeous beachy waves, keeping me looking stunning throughout the evening. Lisa's talent in hairstyling and makeup is matched only by her warm and accommodating nature. She wasn't just a stylist; she was a cherished part of my wedding experience. For anyone looking to feel and look their absolute best with a personal touch that goes beyond expectation, Lisa is the one you want by your side.

Lisa did a phenomenal job of my hair & make up for my wedding in Costa Rica. I'm not sure what magic she pulled, but everything stayed in place perfectly throughout the day and evening (and we're talking crazy heat, humidity and ocean winds!). Also, communication beforehand with Lisa was really easy, and she was very organized, responsive and thoughtful in making sure every detail was taken care of for the big day. Highly recommend!

Lisa is a hair and makeup goddess! She’s a wonderful human and easy to get a long with. She takes time to educate on skincare, hair, and makeup. She was so much fun to get ready with too! My bridesmaids and I looked flawless! Thank you Lisa!!

Lisa did my bridal hair and makeup for my wedding on July 30, 2022. I'm very happy with the whole experience! I was looking for a makeup/hair artist who had experience with different skin tones and hair types, and who would be able to create a look for me that felt natural and like myself, but at the same time elegant and special for the wedding. I also really like that Lisa offers a skin care consultation beforehand. For my hair/makeup trial, I went with a hair down option, but since there was a heat wave on the wedding weekend, I asked her to do an updo on the wedding day. And it looked fantastic! I really appreciated that the makeup looked great, and like it did at the trial, and that the new updo she created on the wedding day looked really lovely. Thank you, Lisa!
