My name is Charlie Lyles. I've always had a love for music, but I just didn't understand what I was supposed to do with it. One summer night after leaving the club and falling in love with the lights, fog, bass, and endless dancing, I wanted to become a DJ. As it all started as just a dream, i wanted to rock that crowd and have thousands of fans. With a willingness to learn more and more and get all the things that a DJ would need, I encountered many setbacks. "No" was the word of the day many times, but I never gave up. I would throw parties just to see if i could manage a group. That was a test as well. To practice a new skill in front of your peers? Let's just say, some applauded and some turned the other way. Never stopped me. Along my journey I've become quite fond of hosting karaoke on Wednesday nights, but... but there was this one thing that was introduced to me that I wouldn't of imagined doing.. Being a WEDDING DJ!!! Absolutely NOT!!! The first thing I thought of was BORING!! What kind of music do you play? What if I get emotional? How does this even play out? I said, ya know what, imma give it a try. What's the worst that could happen? I'll never forget the first wedding I did with my mentor. I was dressed to the T! Lookin good, ready for the show. Not thinking that we DO have to unload the equipment. It was so uncomfortable. From that day on, I dress as comfy as I can. With the time that I've had as a wedding DJ, I make the consultation process very simple and I will answer your call if you call 100 times. I found a deep love for being involved in such a special occasion. To understand that it's not about the music, but about the people and the vibe that is in the room, it has really helped me to rock out many many wedding receptions. To have the bride say it feel like a club here, that really makes me feel GREAT!! I'm here to have a great time and share that experience with you.
