Oh my goodness, I was so incredibly blown away by the service we received from Like the River!! We had a COVID wedding, so we wanted to livestream our ceremony so that more of our loved ones could participate. Like the River offered a livestream package, and it was JUST what we wanted at a great value! Greg offered multiple options for which streaming platform we wanted to use, so we chose Youtube so that a recording of our entire ceremony would be available afterward. They brought multiple cameras to capture different angles, and both the video and sound quality of the stream were so good! What was really incredible was that a few weeks before the wedding, we asked Greg if we could pay extra to add on our first dance and toasts to the stream. Greg and his team went above and beyond to make that happen - he spent extra time to solve wifi issues so that the stream could continue, and then brought multiple cameras into the reception room to still capture multiple angles. He also helped remind us to say a special hello to the camera before he stopped the stream, which I was grateful for because I was so overwhelmed I might have forgotten! I cannot recommend Like the River highly enough - they will ensure your day gets captured with care and quality!!!

I cannot recommend 'Like The River Films' enough. They filmed our micro-wedding with ease and professionalism and got us the video extremely quickly. As our wedding changed completely overnight, we worried it wouldn't be captured for our family unable to travel due to COVID. Like The River Films, quite literally saved the day. Not only did they film every beautiful detail, they stayed extremely professional, cautious, and considerate the entire time. I cry happy tears every time I watch the highlight video, I am forever grateful for their beautiful work & talent. I felt so at ease with their presence throughout the day and was blown away by the product they sent us. They were so professional. At the wedding I hardly even noticed them during the wedding. Anytime I had a question they got back to me right away. I would use them over and over again!

We were debating on whether to spend the money on a videographer during our budget planning process. We kinda decided further along in the wedding planning process to go ahead and include the expense- we are SO happy we did and that we went with Greg and Merriann! They were wonderful to work with, the cost was DEFINITELY worth it, and the end product was amazing. We can’t stop watching our video to relive our day. Their communication was prompt and thorough. They also made the process of being videotaped very non intrusive and comfortable.

My experience with Greg and Merriann was hands down one of the best experiences!! From the first meeting we instantly clicked, they both have such a fun positive outlook and they just made me feel so comfortable especially allowing them up close and personal with one of the most intimate personal times in our lives. They are both so amazing and professional with what they do, also relaxed and just genuinely fun people to work with. Many of the groomsmen commented on how fun Greg was and joked around with the guys to make it fun!! Merriann was in the bridal room with the girls and had SO many great ideas to really tie the film together! They both have so much knowledge on what moments to capture that in the end result made a beautiful video!! I couldnt be more pleased with how my film turned out. I could literally go on and on about my experience and how amazing they are, but you should just book with them and find out for yourself, you wont regret it!!!

I was researching wedding vendors on the internet when I found The Like River Films. I contacted them through their website excited that they could help me document my wedding day. To my delight Merriann got back to me very quickly. Since I lived over an hour away from my wedding venue, and even further from their work location I choose to have our initial consultation over the telephone, and after that call I knew Like The River Films would be the right choice to document the big day!
Leading up to the big day – like many brides I probably sent too many emails but Merriann or Greg got back to me quickly with answers to my questions. The week before the big day I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with Merriann going over the plan and making sure she knew the most important elements to capture on video. One thing that really impressed me the most was the research Merriann and Greg put into learning about the venue. They had never worked at my venue before and while I was on the phone with Merriann she called out very specific details about the venue and where she wanted to get certain shots asking for my input.
Like The River arrived on time – ready to go. My wedding had 10 bridal party members, 7 flower girls, 1 junior bridesmaid and 2 ring bearers so we can basically say it was chaos at various moments throughout the day. Like The River Films went with the flow and seemed to just hang out in the background, which took the pressure off of me – I didn’t even remember I was being filmed, and during the ceremony I completely forgot I was mic’ed up. They hooked right into the microphone that my DJ had which allowed great audio on the film and for the audience who was present. There was no worrying about getting people mic’ed up!
From my bride perspective – there is something SO calming and grounding about Merriann. Having her by my side all day was such a blessing. Every time I saw Greg he brought a smile to my face with his humor and very positive, upbeat energy. I didn’t meet Merriann or Greg before the wedding, so I was very thankful when they just fit in with my group and brought the energy they did.
I am very happy with the quality of products (hightlight film, toasts, and ceremony) I received and I am SO thankful I choose to hire a videographer. Pictures are great and I likely will see them more often the video but there is something so precious and dear about the video. I have the ability to see my dad walk me down the aisle. I didn’t know my sister was so emotional because I was focused on my new husband, I got to see that in the video. I have the voice of my father and new father-in-law giving amazing toasts, and get to watch my dad and I, my husband and I, and my husband and his mother, smile and laugh while we danced. I get to see the fun my guests were having any time I want. I can relive not only mine own but other people’s emotions and experience when I watch the video.
Everyone says the wedding day is a blur. I will tell you my wedding day went fast, but I felt very present. Having this video allows me to see my wedding day from a different perspective and provides me an ability to experience it all over again – which gives me all the feels.

They are professional, fun, creative, kind, talented and non-intrusive. We spent 10 minutes out of 10 hours of footage doing staged material (which ended up being some of our favorite shots) - everything else was completely authentic and organic. They truly did blend in perfectly with the day as we hardly knew they were there. They worked seamlessly with our photographer and captured sounds, expressions and moments photos simply cannot. They helped keep us on schedule, focused on the details that we spent months planning/executing and even during busy season still provided us all content within 2 months!

We have been reliving our wedding day for weeks now, and thanks to this beautiful memento we will be able to relive it for years to come.

Having videography was very important to me, but I wasn't sure we could fit it in our budget. I was so happy when I found Like the River films. I watched some samples and it was so beautifully done. I couldn't believe the value! They booked a phone call with me to answer some questions we had before booking. About a month before the wedding, they met with us to go through wedding details, and even met us halfway to save us part of the two hour drive. On the wedding day, it was important to us to capture a little bit of the getting ready process through a little of dancing. We were able to get all of that with the 6 hour package. After the wedding, we were prepared to wait 3 months for our wedding film, however, 3 days later they already had a sneak peak film, and 3 weeks later they had sent us our final videos. It was so perfect, and FAST. We are so thankful that we have those films, especially for all the friends and family that couldn't make it. We will cherish these films forever, and are so grateful for Greg and Marianne.
