I had the BEST experience with Lighten Up Salon. From the moment I inquired, Danielle, my point person, was fantastic. So sweet, reassuring, and organized. My trial with Dee made me SO confident and comfortable for the wedding day. A few weeks before the wedding, I decided I wanted to change my hairdo. I sent Danielle a bunch of photos to share with Dee, and on the day of, she consulted them once more, we chatted through what I was looking for, and she executed it PERFECTLY! The trial made me so confident in her abilities and our understanding of each other that despite changing the style, I knew she would crush the style, which she did. She is so easy to chat with and consulted me every step of the way. My bridesmaids, mom, and some wedding guests also had their hair done at this salon, and everyone looked GREAT and was so excited about their styles. Most effortless part of the getting ready process by far.

I had a large bridal party and the salon team was very accommodating- even on a busy Saturday morning. Lighten Up caters to their customers and truly made myself and my bridesmaids look and feel beautiful.

Melanie, Tamana, and Erin from Lighten Up did a fantastic job on my and my bridal party's hair and makeup! Lighten Up requires all prospective brides to complete a contract stating how many girls there are, and how they each want their hair and make up done. Pre-paying for the services in advance made for a very smooth wedding day; it was great to not have to worry about cash on that day! They arrived promptly at the hotel in the morning where we were all getting ready. They made sure that the bride went first as to make for good timing, and they completed all 8 of us way before schedule! Our photographer was so pleased to see that we were all ready to go when she arrived, as this does not happen too often! The girls were such a fun group to be around. They danced along to the music the bridesmaids and I played, and they were very interested about getting to know each of us! Not to mention, they did a beautiful job to make us all look camera ready! I will definitely be booking them in the future with any of my beauty needs!

I had everything from my nails to makeup and hair done at Lighten Up for my wedding. All of the girls in my bridal party and our mothers also had their hair and makeup done there. Everyone there is so professional and great at what they do.

Let me start by saying we are not makeup and glam people - we are ponytail and chapstick people. But by the time we left Lighten Up we were all amazed with how great we all felt and looked. Seeing my bridal party girls excited about their makeup was really important to me, I didn't want them to feel uncomfortable. All of our hair and makeup ladies were so great at getting us to that point.

They also helped show us how to keep the makeup fresh for the rest of the day and were so nice about everything. When I went for my trial they recommended what type and color of lipstick to buy so that I could reapply it as needed on my wedding day.

I recommend you book early, they fill up fast!

Megan did my makeup for my wedding day. I was nervous about having someone else do my makeup because I did not want to look fake or overdone. She did such a great job! I could not have been happier with the results.

Lighten Up Salon and Spa did a wonderful job on the hair and makeup of myself, my bridesmaids, flower girls and mother on the day of my wedding. We used the Lighten Up and Lounge option which gave us a private space to relax on the morning of the wedding. We had our own space with the stylists, away from the burden of a busy salon. All of the stylists did a wonderful job with the entire wedding party! We started the day off perfectly and the hair and make-up were perfect until the very end.

I was so pleased with lighten up! my make up was beautiful. During the trial i had a few things i wanted to change, and when it came to the day of the wedding they perfected everything, Megan my make up ARTIST! listened to what i wanted and made sure i loved everything on my face. She even told me how to touch things up if i needed to (which i didn't it lasted all night!). they were so friendly and fun we had such a blast. Even though they were having trouble with their air conditioner that day, they did everything they could to keep myself, my bridesmaids, my mother and my mother in law happy! They were so flexible when i added my mom last minute for hair. they did both hair and makeup for my bridesmaids and they looked beautiful! I would recommend them over and over again!

They did an excellent job with my hair and makeup and my matron of honor's hair! Erin , the hair stylist, was patient and did a wonderful job, and I am a pain in the neck when it comes to my hair!

My three matrons and I had delightful morning in the capable hands of the stylist at Light-Up Beauty Salon. Manicure, Pedicure, cosmetics and hair-do were all just right. They re-did our hair and make-up until we were entirely happy!
