  Excellent Experience

  It was a pleasure working with such talented professionals from hair and makeup, coordinating the wedding day, and everything in between. I had a large bridal party and the salon team was very accommodating- even on a busy Saturday morning. Lighten Up caters to their customers and truly made myself and my bridesmaids look and feel beautiful.

  Amazing Experience!

  I had the BEST experience with Lighten Up Salon. From the moment I inquired, Danielle, my point person, was fantastic. So sweet, reassuring, and organized. My trial with Dee made me SO confident and comfortable for the wedding day. A few weeks before the wedding, I decided I wanted to change my hairdo. I sent Danielle a bunch of photos to share with Dee, and on the day of, she consulted them once more, we chatted through what I was looking for, and she executed it PERFECTLY!   Melanie, Tamana, and Erin from Lighten Up did a fantastic job on my and my bridal party's hair and makeup! Lighten Up requires all prospective brides to complete a contract stating how many girls there are, and how they each want their hair and make up done. Pre-paying for the services in advance made for a very smooth wedding day; it was great to not have to worry about cash on that day! They arrived promptly at the hotel in the morning where we were all getting ready.   I had everything from my nails to makeup and hair done at Lighten Up for my wedding. All of the girls in my bridal party and our mothers also had their hair and makeup done there. Everyone there is so professional and great at what they do.

  They also helped show us how to keep the makeup fresh for the rest of the day and were so nice about everything. When I went for my trial they recommended what type and color of lipstick to buy so that I could reapply it as needed on my wedding day.
  
  I recommend you book early, they fill up fast!

  Megan did my makeup for my wedding day. I was nervous about having someone else do my makeup because I did not want to look fake or overdone. She did such a great job! I could not have been happier with the results.

  Lighten Up Salon and Spa did a wonderful job on the hair and makeup of myself, my bridesmaids, flower girls and mother on the day of my wedding. We used the Lighten Up and Lounge option which gave us a private space to relax on the morning of the wedding. We had our own space with the stylists, away from the burden of a busy salon. All of the stylists did a wonderful job with the entire wedding party! We started the day off perfectly and the hair and make-up were perfect until the very end.

  They did an excellent job with my hair and makeup and my matron of honor's hair! Erin , the hair stylist, was patient and did a wonderful job, and I am a pain in the neck when it comes to my hair!

  My three matrons and I had delightful morning in the capable hands of the stylist at Light-Up Beauty Salon. Manicure, Pedicure, cosmetics and hair-do were all just right. They re-did our hair and make-up until we were entirely happy!

  Kasha whom works at Lighten Up Salon & Spa is the best! She is sweet, talented, and very patient.
  
  NOTE: My only recommendation if using her is not to send your wedding party to anyone else in this salon because my girls had such issues with the assisting staff.

  I had my hair and makeup done for my wedding in August 2012, as well as my 9 bridesmaids and 2 mother/mother in laws. Jessica did a wonderful job on my makeup and it lasted all night long. It looked so fabulous! I looked like myself, but a little fancier! Laureen did my hair. She also did a fabulous job and worked diligently to get my hair looking as I wanted it. The entire service was great for me and my bridesmaid. I would definitely recommend this salon to others!

  I had my wedding hair and make up done by Lighten up, the morning of my wedding, at the venue. I asked for two girls to be ready early in the morning, and they were both early, prepared and happy to be helping make me and my bridesmaids pretty at 8am on a Saturday. The hair was simple and stayed in place the entire night. They demonstrated how to put the veil in, how to take it out without messing the style. My make up was ideal, I asked for it not too heavy and it lasted all day. I couldn't be happier and my girls looked beautiful!

  Pleasant experience

  Danielle is excellent to work with. She was very accommodating. My up-do and my Maid of Honor was great, but I wasn’t happy with my flower girl’s up-do at all. We re-did when we got home. So a lot depends on who you get to style and their experience. That’s was the only rough thing on an otherwise perfect day.
