Mark was incredible. From the initial meeting through the engagement shoot and the wedding events, he was a perfect blend of professionalism and approachable. We had some edited highlights two days after our wedding and he even edited some high res photos early per our request for some gifts we had planned for our bridal party. Mark was an absolutely wonderful photographer on our wedding day. He was prompt, flexible, kind, and made the day even more fun. Mark was waiting outside when I arrived at our wedding venue and gave my parents, brother, and me such a warm greeting! He took pictures of us walking into the venue and it was so nice having even those special moments between my family caught on camera. Once in the venue, Mark was on top of all the details that needed to be covered. He took beautiful detail pictures of flowers, chuppah, table settings, jewelry, picture frames and much more. He went back and forth shooting the bridal party as they prepped, and was really organized for all the formal shots. We have terrific pictures of our ceremony and reception that followed. He took images of family, friends, and sweet moments captured between the me, the bride, and my husband, the groom! All of the moments we discussed prior to the wedding were captured perfectly.

After the wedding, Mark spoke with us about wedding albums. There were many choices and he helped guide us in picking the album that suited our tastes. When he came to present our album and parent albums, we were blown away. The quality was incredible and we absolutely love our album. Mark was a delight and we would highly recommend him!

Mark recently photographed the Guiding Eyes Golf Classic - our largest annual fundraiser and a hugely important event for our nonprofit organization. His work was fantastic and timely, and he somehow managed to make our guests look dry and happy, despite seriously terrible weather! In addition to posed shots of our golf foursomes, Mark took excellent, creative photos of our dogs that we'll use in marketing materials for years to come. I felt that he took the role very seriously; he was attentive and professional yet kind and engaging with our guests. I would recommend Mark to absolutely anyone.

Of all of the venders we used for our daughter's Bat Mitzvah, Mark Liflander was the easiest to work with, most professional, and most reasonably priced. His photos are outstanding, but what I am most impressed with is his ability to get so many wonderful close-ups without being intrusive. There is an art to getting into the thick of things to get a great shot without disrupting the guests, and Mark is a master of that art. I happened to have seen him working at a couple of other events and witnessed the same sort of professionalism that he showed at ours. I would wholeheartedly, and without any reservation, recommend him for any type of event.

Mark was excellent! He is easy to work with and was so accommodating to our needs. His photographs captured Sam's personality and his special day perfectly. Mark did an amazing job photographing the reception to our wedding. The pictures he shot were dynamic and really captured the spirit of the event. The shots he took of my wife and I on the beach in Del Mar were among my favorite. He has a fantastic eye for both composition and the technical processing of the images leading to some stunning viewpoints I wouldn't have thought could be captured. His shot of the Hora that broke out to Hava Nagila and a setting sun making use of two different filters were just amazing. He also did a great time lapse making use of a GoPro to get a feel for both the eating and dancing portion of the reception. I couldn't recommend Mark enough whether your capturing your wedding, bar mitzvah or any other big celebration.
