Life’s Kitchen is Boise-based nonprofit, culinary-arts based workforce development program that is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk young adults, ages 16-24, by building self sufficiency and independence through comprehensive food service and life skills training, and placement in the food service industry and continuing education. We use our foodservice businesses, such as catering and our Cafe, to provide job and life skills training to young adults. We also make really, really good food. We think you’ll find our prices are competitive with anyone in Idaho, But the best part is that as a non-profit, every dollar you spend goes right back into our program training “at-risk” youth and feeding 3,000 meals every week for Boise’s homeless.
