About Levine Museum of the New South
Levine Museum of the New South is a unique wedding venue located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This interesting museum explores the South from after the Civil War and through to today, through exhibits, programs and dialogue. They feature multiple indoor event spaces to host both your ceremony and reception. Levine Museum of the New South has hosted hundreds of events for over 20 years, and they can't wait to make your day unforgettable.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 350 seated guests at this modern venue. You can book the whole museum for grand affairs, or rent out individual spaces for more intimate gatherings. The Lobby features dramatic glass windows and a grand staircase, perfect for cocktail hour and making your entrance. This unique space is rented in conjunction with the Sally Dalton Robinson Atrium. The Atrium boasts high ceilings, skylights and a wooden dance floor. If you need additional space for dinner or dancing, you can rent out Harris Hall. On the second floor, they offer intimate spaces such as the Dowd Board Room, Turner Conference Center and the Balcony Landing.
This full-service venue allows your guests to view their permanent exhibit, “Cotton Field to Skyscrapers.” If you book the entire museum, your friends and family will have access to the upstairs exhibits, as well. They'll provide tables and chairs for your affair, as well as a list of pre-approved caterers that they trust. Complimentary parking is provided at the Seventh Street Station parking deck.
