Every so often, an experience comes along that you feel compelled to share with the world. For my daughter’s wedding, Karen Legan, owner of Lemon Dehlia in Wilton CT, truly exceeded all expectations with her floral designs. The table centerpieces were not only elegantly crafted but also infused with a playful charm, garnering rave reviews from our guests.
But Karen’s brilliance did not stop there. She created a stunning outdoor arch overlooking the sound for our ceremony. When an unexpected storm rolled in, Karen and her team swiftly adapted, deconstructing and rebuilding the arch under the cocktail hour tent—a difficult endeavor considering the challenging conditions. Despite the rain, our Bride was thrilled to exchange vows under arch, under the tent.
Beyond the centerpieces and the arch, Karen designed the most exquisite bouquets for Grace and the wedding party. We repurposed these floral masterpieces at the grandparent wedding photo table and bar area, while estate containers filled with nature's finest adorned the aisle. Individual bud vases lined the large fireplace mantel, and the flowers seemed to dance in the flickering candlelight, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
