Kyle Heaser has to be THE most unknown photographer in the Twin Cities. He is up and coming but there is nothing amateur about his photos. His work is amazing and continues to get better with every photo he captures.
He is a blast to work with and will do anything you ask of him to get crazy, amazing never been done before photos!
I would most definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer. But you better book him fast because the word is spreading about his amazing work!

Our photographer and his team were fabulous through the whole event. They went above and beyond to make sure our pictures were phenomenal - and we've seen a few previews: they are phenomenal. They were so easy to work with and so friendly. It was really great to have a photographer that 1) was so unbelievably competent and 2) got along well with us AND our guests! We had a great experience with Lead Image Photography and they have our recommendation for life.

Where to begin. Kyle Matthew (Heaser) is now known as "The Wedding Photographer MN", not Lead Image Photography anymore, but this was the only place I could find to post a public review. Very non-responsive and unprofessional. There were issues from the beginning, but to keep this short and sweet, we'll just focus on our wedding day. Our wedding day was .. indescribable. Kyle was taking shots at the bar at 9:30am and was cut off by the bar staff at 11:00am. This was before I even saw him that day. He kept sneaking drinks and was very noticeably drunk mid-day. As the night progressed, he proceeded to try and pick fights with our male guests and grabbed several of our female guests inappropriately. This is among many other inappropriate behaviors he displayed. Eventually, he had to be kicked out by my father and security. He DID get some great pictures of us, so I can't completely not recommend, but his unprofessionalism is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Proceed with immense caution if you book him.

Kyle photographed out wedding back in 2012. He arrived on time with an assistant and got most of the pictures I was looking for. However being a photographer myself and I was a anal bride I gave him a list of the for sure pictures that I wanted. He did not reference that list at all I don't even think he had it with him. At the end of the night I had realized he didn't get a picture of my bouquet. He did get the picture after I mentioned it but it was still a little frustrating. He sent us a few sneak peaks and I just loved them they were great! So months went by he gave me what he said were all the pictures but there were like 1/4 of them missing! It then took a lot of pressuring and asking him to give us the rest of the pictures which he finally did after weeks of waiting for them. It was just a very unprofessional experience. He also gave me blurry images. I don't know why he even included those. Anyways overall I was not happy with my experience.

I hired Kyle as my wedding photographer. In the contract it said I got a free engagement shoot. As soon as I tried to set that up, all communication went downhill. It took 2 weeks and 3 emails later for him to email me back. We finally got it set up after a month of emailing. He said he’d email me the pictures and I could pick the ones I wanted edited. A week went by with no email of the photos. I thought maybe he was busy so I figured I’d email him about our contract (I mailed my half so I never got a copy of the fully signed contract) and that maybe that would remind him I’m waiting on my pictures. A week goes by. Still no response. So then I decided to text him. No response. I texted him the next day. No response. Finally the next day. He texts me saying he’s looking for it in his files. So I give him 5 more days. Still no contract or engagement photos. At this point I honestly didn’t trust he would show up to my wedding. I contacted a lawyer friend of mine to make sure I do everything properly and I ask for my full refund back and if I don’t get it back I would take him to small claims court. That got his attention right away. He didn’t ask why or try to fix it. He just said he’d get give me my refund back. I did eventually get the refund back after another whole week of asking for it. But do not book with Kyle. It is not worth the stress. He was not professional. He does not run his business properly and I have no idea how he makes a living off this if this is how he treats his clients.

Kyle takes very beautiful pictures, HOWEVER, for our engagement pictures we took them in August and did not get any pictures back from him until a week before our wedding in June. He promised to not be so bad getting back our wedding photos.. well it’s been over 6 months and still no pictures. Not only do I not have any pictures to print or show, he has had zero communication since the wedding. I have proofs that cannot be downloaded and no clue if I am going to get edited pictures or not. The contract says $100 off after 8 weeks of no pictures so we basically have gone below zero at this point. Very sad and very disappointed with his professionalism. I wish I would’ve gone with an equally good photographer that was 100x more professional.

Totally unreliable. Claims that he had another engagement he forgot about. Totally took a higher paying offer leaving us without a photographer a day before the wedding. You plan your wedding for 18 months wanting it to be everything you dreamed it would be. Then walking into your Groom's dinner for your first wedding event and he calls to cancel. Do you know how much stress this puts on a bride? Totally wrecks the Groom's dinner because she is so worried!! Totally unfair and unprofessional. Oh, don't worry, he'll offer you a replacement that he advertises for on Facebook. Don't waste your time or money!!!

Everything was going fine, some communication issues. However the day before our wedding we had learned he was overbooked and would be shooting another wedding. He left us with some other "options". We were lucky to find someone else, still waiting for our deposit back...

The only reason he's getting a 0.5 out of 5 is because you are required to fill in each star....otherwise I would have went with a 0/5! Unfortunately my fiancé and I have had a terrible experience with Kyle. When I attended a wedding expo last year (2016) in the cities I was excited when I found lead image photography...his pictures were amazing that he had displayed! I thought the price was a little high but I figured for what you were getting in the photo package and for beautiful pictures it would be worth it! I paid him $400 for the deposit which included him doing our engagement pictures. We were told we would have our unedited photos back in two weeks max..2 months later we finally got them! We selected our favorites that we wanted edited and he gave us a date they would be done by which didn't happen. I tried to contact him MANY times and didn't hear back from him and about 5 or 6 months later he finally got us our edited pictures back, thankfully he didn't take any longer because we needed to get our save the dates out and we're waiting on the pictures. I was very disappointed to see that there was much editing done to the pictures at all. In a few photos you can see people walking in the background and in one he used his extra camera to hold up a sign and he didn't edit the camera out. He told me he would fix that in a day, it has been close to 2 months and he still didn't edit those things. With all this I became VERY nervous to have him as our photographer for our wedding day and decided we needed to find someone more reliable and trustworthy. Still waiting to get our deposit back from him (which if we don't receive that we will more than likely be taking him to small claims court). I don't recommend hiring him as your photographer. This has added way more stress to the wedding planning than we need. I don't understand how someone could do this to a couple for one of the most important days in their lives.

Kyle was what nightmares are made of for upcoming brides! I am warning you to not book him for your wedding day. i gave Kyle our $400 deposit. Which he did out engagrment shoot. Said he'd have the EDITED engagement pics in a week or two. Months went by no engagement pics. Even said he was "working" on them and promised to finish them by the next day, STILL another 2 months went by and I HAD NO ENGAGEMENT PICS! This worried me, about the wedding day, I decided to not go with him and find a more reliable photographer. I then asked Kyle for my $400 deposit back, and now he's giving me the run around for that! So basically he's took my money and I have not one picture to show for it! It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with him. I don't understand how someone could do this to a bride on one of the more important days of her life. Weddings are stressful enough! I will be taking him to small claims courts!
