What a wonderful venue! The Hotel is beautiful, and has a gorgeous outdoor area (it was even pretty during mid-winter when we had our wedding)! The room was lovely, and the area where the hous de vours were served was also so pretty. They were very accomodating about providing a number of rooms (not bedrooms, meeting rooms) for the things that had to take place. Wonderful working with Shaun -- she's fantastic. They also included tables and linens, thus saving us the extra rental cost. Very classy, simply elegant.Sent on 01/05/2011

I had my wedding at the Le Meridien with reception in Portico. I loved the spacious rooms and the interior decor inside of hotel. The food and beverage minimums were affordable and the staff, very friendly and accommodating. While my wedding date was double booked, which dampened my experience just a tad, the hotel made up for it and it was a great time had by family and friends. I would recommend this hotel to anyone getting married.Sent on 12/03/2016

My husband and I selected Le Meridien for our wedding guests to stay at and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. First the reason we selected this hotel was because they have a nice restaurant venue that we were told we could use for a Sunday brunch. We were led on to believe we had this spot reserved and a contract would be sent to us shortly- this went on for 8 months (I followed up every 2 weeks or so) before we were told they had actually reserved the room for a different event. This was 3 months before the wedding - leaving us no options to book anywhere else (it was Mothers Day Sunday) and forcing us to sign on to a different less appealing room at the hotel for a HIGHER PRICE.Sent on 08/08/2019
Regarding guest experience from the hotel block, we had agreed with the hotel that all people had to do was call and mention our wedding and they would be given our special rate. WELL almost every single guest we spoke to had some kind of issue with the hotel - whether it being told there was no wedding block, charged the wrong rate, charged double, or not given the upgraded rooms they paid for. I don't understand how this hotel is honestly in business. We also gave the hotel gift bags to give to our guests and were promised all guests would receive bags. Well, of course, only half of the guests got welcome bags.
The cherry on top was on the Friday night when my husband showed up to stay in his room, the hotel claimed they had no record of him having a booked room there. It took him over an hour before they realized they had given his room to someone else. Imagine bringing over 60 nights of business to a hotel and being treated this way????
After planning an outdoor wedding with over 20 different vendors I can easily say dealing with Le Meridien was the most difficult part of the wedding planning process by FAR. As a bride I would not recommend anyone use this hotel for any aspect of their wedding. It is truly not worth the unnecessary stress.
