Lauren and Howard are the best dynamic duo in the Wedding photography business! From booking to day-of Lauren was the best in communication, professionalism and relatability. She was so down to earth I almost felt like she was just my friend taking stunning photos. I’m a little more introverted and I don’t love taking photos and she made me feel comfortable and calm. 10/10 recommend for all photography needs!

I can’t say enough great things about Lauren and Howard. From the start, Lauren was sweet, personable, easy to talk to and super responsive to email. I thought our engagement shoot was going to be a bit awkward but she and Howard made us feel so comfortable right away. When it came to the wedding, Lauren helped me nail down a timeline and she helped corral people to try to stay on time. She’s also prepared for anything that may happen- When I got railroad grease on my dress, she whipped out an entire wedding day emergency kit to try and get it out. When it started pouring right before my rooftop photos, Howard stood out in the pouring rain and lightning so Lauren could do some practice shots and get her lighting right. When I wanted some shots of my bridesmaids tossing confetti in our Airbnb, Howard was right behind us cleaning up the mess. Most importantly, our photos turned out amazing. We did some posed shots and portraits, of course, but some of our favorites are the ones she got when we didn’t know anyone was looking. You will never regret hiring Lauren!

Lauren and her amazing husband Howard were absolutely incredible. Beyond Lauren's photography skills (which are fantastic and speak for themselves), they kept our whole wedding day feeling light and happy. They kept us on schedule, worked seamlessly with our other vendors and were an all around joy to work with. Our photos turned out even better than expected and I couldn't recommend working with Lauren more.

Lauren and Howard are the most perfect team I could have imagined to photograph our wedding!! Not only did Lauren capture STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS photos, but they also found ways to make my slightly camera shy husband comfortable - they paid attention to what made us truly be ourselves and the result was more meaningful photos than I ever could have asked for. They were the epitome of professional, while making us feel like old friends, and were wonderfully flexible when schedules needed to be adjusted. The little things Lauren thought of throughout the process really made every step of the way feel special and I could not be more grateful to have had them as part of our day! I would give a million stars if I could - thank you to Lauren and her team for all their incredible work!

There isn’t enough I can say about Lauren. From her professionalism, to her talent, to her personality- everything is exactly what you could want for your big day. Lauren was artistic, listened to ideas we had, and was a total dream to have. Howard, Lauren’s husband, was SO helpful the entire time and made everything run even more smoothly (from holding my bouquet to handing me a drink at the perfect moment!!). Jennifer, our second photographer through Lauren, was just as wonderful. Fun & focused. I’d pick Lauren as a photographer one million times over. You cannot go wrong with her- your memories are in your photographers hands & Lauren captured every memory and then some for us!!

Where do I even start with how phenomenal Lauren and her husband Howard are to work with? I can tell you that choosing Lauren Nievod Photography for our photographer was the #1 best decision we made in preparation for our big day, and it was also one of the firsts. She has always been flexible with us, starting with having a phone interview while we were driving 6 hours to pick up our puppy, to rescheduling and then rolling with a rainy day for our engagement photos a state away, to our wedding day when I would change my mind 5 different times about what shots I wanted. She has been there since we started our wedding planning journey so by the time our day rolled around it was like having a friend follow you around with a camera instead of someone who is paid to like you and tell you you’re a beautiful bride. She is not afraid to lay on floors, stand on tables or run into the middle of the street to get the perfect shot. She and Howard were able to do the impossible and wrangle our huge wedding party and families with short attention spans to get the photos done as quickly as possible so we could try and stay on schedule. Her portfolio first stood out while we were reviewing for her fire detail shots, and she does not disappoint, several of our photos have been featured on our other vendors and our venue’s social media accounts.
A little love for Howard – He was an absolute life saver several times that day, including doing “girly” tasks for me, even though I am pretty sure he had no idea what he was doing (ie putting the sole protectors on my shoes). He would run any errand asked of him, kept the wedding party hydrated in the heat and made sure I didn’t have to carry anything. Having him as a ‘personal assistant’ for the day we phenomenal and he is such a joy to have around along with Lauren.
One of the most amazing standouts of our final package was I could not tell which photos were taken by the second shooter other than I knew Lauren was with me for certain moments. She chooses her team so seamlessly that you would never know looking at your album that she wasn’t in multiple places at once.
Honestly my biggest regret is not having them stay longer for the night. If you are debating between multiple photographers of a similar style, I can tell you that you will not be disappointed in your decision to hire Lauren Nievod Photography.

My husband and I are both not huge fans of photos, posing, etc. It typically feels forced and awkward- Christina was our photographer, and she fixed all those woes for us! Her high energy, and happy demeanor were noticed and complimented by literally everyone attending the wedding. We loved our engagement photos and are anxious to receive the ones from the wedding. I would recommend her 1000 times over!

I felt like when I first met Lauren, we instantly clicked. She was so warm and bubbly and made me feel so comfortable that I knew I wanted her as my photographer. She also has an amazing portfolio, and uses light in such a magical way. She made our engagement pictures so smoothless and fun. So, Lauren actually was not able to be there on my wedding day (she was injured), but her husband Howard came with the second photographer (who was equally amazing). Lauren and her team were able to find a third person to fill in within an hour. HER TEAM IS INCREDIBLE! They made me feel like a princess, as they shot many pictures. Howard also has an amazing eye for detail. From the images they showed me from that day and the sneak peak Lauren showed me, I am so anxious and cannot wait for my photographs! These last a lifetime, so you want the best and she is the best

Lauren captured so many wonderful moments on our wedding day! Seeing all the photos literally brought tears to our eyes. The photos perfectly reflect the emotions and beauty of our day, as well as all the fun, laughs, and smiles. Lauren is not only an amazing photographer, but a wonderful person and a joy to work with! Our friends and families raved about how amazing she was and how relaxed she made everyone feel! And Lauren's husband Howard was such a thoughtful and helpful assistant - he was always one step ahead! We feel so lucky to have found Lauren and so privileged that she agreed to capture our day! We hope she will be able to photograph many more milestones in our lives!

Lauren is absolutely incredible!!! After our initial meeting with her we knew we had to have her as our wedding photographer. We loved looking at her work and she was so nice. Our engagement pictures were absolutely amazing and I can't even begin to express how incredible our wedding album is! She is also super sweet and very professional. She was such a pleasure to work with! When researching photographers she was at the top of our budget, but worth every penny!!!!
