Fairy tale Wedding Venue

This venue is right out of a fairy tale! Working with Judy who owns the estate home was a dream. Judy treats you like you are family and you can contact her at anytime to discuss wedding details. Judy set up all the ceremony chairs by herself and went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed for a perfect day. We cannot say enough good things about the venue and the couple who owes it.

Without a doubt the most elegant venue available in Cincinnati. Built at the turn of the century, it is a miniature Hearst Castle. Restored to its period with amazing gardens for the ceremony. Judy, the owner and proprietor takes great pride in her home and is so helpful in offering opinions and last minute assistance wherever needed. This is her and her husbands home. We opted to have the mid September ceremony in the garden with the house in the background, easily seated 180. Cocktails in the house during the pictures and then the reception in the tents out front, framed by the house and the beautiful porch. We served food in the atrium, which works well for the caterers as the kitchen is right next to it. Lots of picture perfect spots and again, a wonderful, helpful proprietor. For a reception for this many, the house, while large, was a little cut up, that is the only reason we opted for tents, and also as a ceremony back up in case of inclement weather.

Laurel court was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Judy was always willing to take our families through the mansion for planning purposes, and she had a lot of helpful tips that made the day run more smoothly. She even added several little extras that we didn't even ask for. Everyone commented on how unique and beautiful the venue was, and it made for great photos. It's not cheap and does require event insurance, but that's completely understandable once you see the inside. Plus, there is no charge for having your ceremony there in addition to the reception, and you can choose your own caterer and bring in your own alcohol, which helps save money. The owners of laurel court are active in historic preservation and urban revitalization, which made us feel even better about our decision to get married here. I would.definitely recommend laurel court to Cincinnati brides.
