Laura was the best wedding photographer! She made me and my camera shy husband feel so comfortable during our engagement session, she was always flexible about where and when to meet, oftered ideas for shots and locations. On our wedding day she slipped right in and took the most beautiful photos we will cherish forever. Highly, highly recommended!

Laura is truly amazing. From the beginning to the end, Laura was easy to work with, fun, organized and she responded to emails quickly (this is so important!).

Our engagement session was a blast! We were kinda nervous because we'd never been really photographed before, but she made us feel comfortable and we got some really amazing pictures.

At our wedding, she was so easy-going, that even when there were some major changes or people not showing up, she was quick on her feet and just rolled with the punches.

Laura is fantastic photographer! I was amazed at how fast she edited my engagement and wedding pictures, and put them in a cute slideshow so I could show my friends and family. When I was looking around for a photographer in DC, I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find one that took really modern and artistic pics...until I was browsing through The Knot and found Laura's website! When I saw her gallery, I immediately knew that she was the photographer I was looking for! I had to rework my wedding budget so I could afford such a great photographer like Laura, but in the end, I am super glad I booked her because my pictures were so beautiful! She took the effort to really get to know me and went above and beyond as a photographer, which I thought was really sweet and thoughtful. I would totally recommend her to all my friends!

I love love love love Laura Kay Photography!!!!! If you want unique, fun, and beautiful wedding photos, you must check Laura out. She was more than I wanted to spend on photography, but I'm so glad that I just bit the bullet and used her as my photographer.

I hardly noticed her on the day - which is wonderful because the last thing you want is for your photographer to be the center of attention at your wedding.

We spent a few hours with Laura before the wedding to have our engagement photos. Because they were taken so close to our wedding, we didn't have time to do a professional photo guest book with them (she does beautiful guest books with engagement photos, starting at around $400). Instead, she gave me all the pics and I was able to print an album with http://www.blurb.com.

Laura did a wonderful job on the day of - she's very fun to be around, and nothing is a problem for her - she just went with the flow.

Let me say, I love Laura. She captured our wedding perfectly, and she did a fab job on our engagement pictures as well. Everybody that's seen our pictures loves her work, and at least 2 of our friends have booked her for their own weddings! And when she says she loves her job, she means it. Her smiling face and demeanor made all the difference and it was a joy having her around snapping away. She's genuinely interested in her work, and she makes sure to understand her clients to provide the kind of work that matches the couple's style.
