We did not have a good experience with Laskers. You will end up working with different people at this store and they will tell you different things. We ordered the engagement ring 5 weeks ahead of when it was needed and was told that it would be in by 3 weeks. However, the ring was not ready within the 3 weeks, nor was it ready within the 5 weeks. So I had to go on vacation with my gf and propose to her without the ring. Lasker's wouldn't even give me a replacement ring or temporary engagement band in the meantime. I was willing to pay a couple hundred dollars for a temporary band, but they wouldn't help at all. I went to Rochester Lapidary instead and they were much friendlier and completely understood the situation. When my ring finally came into laskers they were not nice to me. It was supposed to be a good and happy experience but they took all of the excitement out of it.

I would not recommend going to Laskers unless you have over $10,000 to spend on a ring. Those are the only customers who they really seem to care about. Even if you spend $5000 with them they will treat you like you are a poor man, unworthy of their interest.
