Mr. Phung made the most delicious cake for my wedding that I have ever tasted! It was a beautiful butter cream 3 tier cake with alternating tiers of or chocolate and vanilla and a raspberry filling. We received so many compliments on how tasty the cake was from our wedding guests, which I believe, since everyone ate it so quickly. I will definitely be coming back here for more of that delicious cake for every special occasion!

For a small little bakery KoGiBow did a great job of creating the cake we wanted with the perfect taste. The design was exactly as we had envisioned it. Light fluffy and delicious. I highly recommend this little bakery in Adams Morgan.

If you're looking for a fancy fondant-covered wedding cake and a boutique-like bakery atmosphere like they show on TV wedding shows, KoGiBow isn't your place. BUT if you would like a reasonably priced, delicious and beautiful cake from a small business that's been in the community for years, you will be very, very pleased. Mr. Phung is extremely friendly, his prices are terrific, and our cake turned out exactly as I'd hoped--I gave him a picture, and he reproduced it. KoGiBow is a no-frills place--our cake tasting consisted of us, standing next to the counter, and tasting slices of cake and dollops of fillings off a paper plate with a plastic fork--but it was mighty delicious (the tres leches filling paired with chocolate cake got lots of compliments from our guests!) KoGiBow delivered and set up the cake on time, too, for a very reasonable charge. Don't be put off by the clutter and the random Pillsbury Doughboy figurines and children's cake toppers in the bakery--KoGiBow does awesome wedding cakes!
