There are no words to truly express how amazing my wedding turned out because of Jana. It was absolutely AMAZING! Every dream I had came true plus some. It was picture perfect. It was also like having a best friend along for the ride. She was so attentive and kind through the entire process.

I didn’t think I needed a planner when I got married. I was so wrong. And anyone other than Jana I would have been selling myself short! She thought of the smallest details that ended up being my favorite parts of our wedding day. There wasn’t a person there that wasn’t in complete amazement when they walked in. She turned an outside pool and made it something out of dreams.

Honestly she’s just AMAZING and an actual hero in the wedding planning game!

Her name says it all! Jana the Wedding Hero was absolutely the hero of my November 2022 destination wedding.

I could tell on our very first phone call that Jana is as professional as it gets! She means business, takes her work seriously and gets shit DONE but also has fun along the way. Jana helped us secure a date at my dream venue - South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island. I had dreamed of a wedding at South Seas ever since I vacationed there with my family many years ago. My wedding vision was centered around this venue and island, and we spent most of 2022 planning together.

Less than two months before my wedding date, Hurricane Ian came barreling toward Southwest Florida. Captiva was evacuated and the causeway, (the one road onto the island) was completely destroyed, so we had to wait patiently until staff could reach the grounds to assess. It caused historic damage. Jana was incredibly composed, realistic, and professional through this entire tragedy - even though her own neighborhood suffered greatly from the storm as well!

At first I could not even begin to fathom having my wedding anywhere else, Captiva was my dream! Changing our date seemed near impossible - everything was planned, travel was booked, and we had no idea when South Seas could reopen. I was very hesitant, but after a week or so, I gave Jana the go ahead to seek out other venues available on our date. Since much of SWFL was harmed by the hurricane, this was no easy task… especially with the standards that South Seas had set. I was devastated and needed a FABULOUS venue with a similar tropical vibe to get me excited about my wedding again.

Jana sprung into action and miraculously found a stunning resort down in Islamorada (Florida Keys) that was available. The Islander resort is as tropical and beautiful as it gets! Six weeks before my wedding date, I gave Jana the green light and she got to work. She had to do quite a bit of coordinating with our previously secured vendors, who were willing to travel down to Islamorada. We worked together to somewhat redesign the ceremony and reception. Figuring out the room block and accommodations for 130 guests was a challenge so last minute. There was an enormous amount of work to be done in just six weeks - but Jana did it!

By the time wedding week came around, I had pretty much gotten all the stress out of my system. I was just thrilled that it was all finally happening! I was able to enjoy my wedding week so much more because I knew Jana had everything under control. After all we went through, I could not have been more happy with the outcome. It was truly the best day of our entire lives, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing looking back. The entire time we were there, we kept saying “this feels like Plan A”

Jana and her AMAZING team brought my design vision to life and made it better than I could have ever dreamed. Her staff is incredible - so on the ball and professional. I was able to be so present and enjoy every minute of my big day because I knew everything was handled.
