Kimberley and her team were such an amazing find that we just happened to come across by word of mouth. We were looking for a post-wedding brunch option that was high-quality, but didn't break the bank after all the cash we shelled out for the wedding. Terrene was a perfect location for the event, and everyone was talking about how delicious the food was. Thank you to the team for making the morning after so special!

First, Kimberley Ashlee Catering was recommended by the venue. After initial interviews, we realized how personable they were. The pricing was very reasonable and the menu was customed made to our vision and experience we wanted (which plays into their flexibility). The food was scrumptious, so much so, we asked her to if she'd cater our 1st wedding anniversary meal! (She did!)

We considered a few different caterers for our wedding and did multiple tastings. Our tasting with Kimberley Ashlee was by far the best. Kimberley put together a very thoughtful menu. She was very communicative and helpful throughout the planning process, and was flexible in working out the menu and plan for the bar within our budget. Every dish at the wedding was delicious, and we got rave reviews from our guests. Many said it was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding. The mac and cheese and chicken were the biggest hits. We highly recommend Kimberley Ashlee!

I loved working with Kimberley Ashlee catering and I am so glad the actual Kimberley is in my life! She has a good general vibe for weddings, because anytime I got off the phone with her I always felt more prepared and less stressed out.
I have a lot of vegetarian and vegan friends, so planning a wedding in Ambridge was a daunting task. I did a lot of googling and talking with my wedding planner and talking with the venue, and a lot of local caterers would send me emails like, "We have a chicken dinner or a pasta dinner. We charge $20/hour per girl." I assume he meant waitstaff. ehhhh....
When I reached out to Kimberley Ashlee, they got back right away and were SO chill about my pickiness. I wanted a robust vegan option, no problem. Gluten-free pasta, no problem. I personally am allergic to beets which is an ingredient in every third veg/vegan meal, no problem. Also, the meat option had to be good too, and that was no problem. Kimberley designed a menu for us that was inspired by our venue (Old Economy Village) and the time of year (late summer) which was perfect. In the months before the wedding, I would just read over the menu and imagine. :) We also did a bar package and a pre-ceremony lemonade and water station which I ultimately had to do little thinking about--it was just there when I arrived on the day.
Our wedding went off without a hitch and people still talk about the food, which is flattering to me since I picked it, but 100% of the credit goes to Kimberley Ashlee catering, who did an awesome job. We did a buffet and the table was set up really creatively so that like all the stands and utensil-type things were hidden. I don't know how to describe it other than it just all looked really polished.

They have a mobile kitchen truck, so they cooked our dinner on the premises and carried it the twenty yards into our ceremony. So if you want to get married somewhere with no kitchen, it's no problem.

Also, I think it's worth mentioning that the waitstaff that worked my event was all like, really cool. I remember the gals working at the bar, in particular, were just like, really cool girls. Which is a plus!

I would say regarding budget, Kimberley is very cool and chill about working with you when it comes to budget. She gave us a lot of different options with little pressure to make us spend more money. I would say we went with Kimberley Ashlee because of our specific needs, and then on top of that, we went with a slightly more luxurious dinner/bar package because that was our priority.
I just mention this because I know a lot of people planning their wedding have never worked iwth a caterer before and get stressed out about the money thing. I think most wedding professionals will work with you. Kimberley, in particular, will give you a low-pressure consultation with options to help you end up with something you are comfortable with.

We hired Kimberley Ashlee to cater our son’s rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. The menus differed greatly. Kimberley was so creative to provide food for both events and make each night unique and very delicious! Due to the virus we had to change the original wedding plans. We hired Kimberley a month prior to our dates. She and Alissa were terrific to work with and truly were essential in making both evenings wonderful.

Food was VERY important to us for our wedding. We really wanted an intimate dinner party with excellent, fresh food. Kimberley totally got our vision and went above and beyond. The food was locally sourced, fresh and innovative. She also made sure we had something for everyone - foodies, kids and our picky grandmas. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We'd highly recommend Kimberley and her team and hope to use her again for future events!

Kimberley Ashlee Catering made our wedding perfect! I am gluten free due to celiac and didn't want to be sick on my wedding day. Kimberley assured me she was knowledgeable in the gluten free diet and I need not worry. She is in fact very knowledgeable not only did I make it through my day feeling great, not one guest knew the food served was gluten free. Our meal was definitely the highlight of the day! It was farm to table fresh from local ingredients. She started with amazing appetizers, shrimp gazpacho, stuffed pepperdews, and cucumber cups with local trout mouse made to order & served from trays by experienced servers. The meal was prepared on site served piping hot to each guest. My husband and I look back on our meal of airline chicken and flank steak as the best meal we've had the pleasure of eating. Everyone is still talking about the rice. The one thing I will never forget is how her staff treated me! I felt like the most important person in the world. They were always there filling my drink or checking to see if I needed anything to make my day better. My husband felt the same way. Kimberley is an amazing chef and person. She knows exactly how to make an occasion exemplary. I am looking for an excuse to use her again. Do yourself a big favor, stop looking and call Kimberley Ashlee Catering today!

There is so much I could say about Kimberley, Josh, and their amazing team. First, Kimberley is sweet, knowledgeable, confident, and overall amazing to work with. My husband and I's situation wasn't easy: we needed yummy Mexican-inspired dishes for our upcoming Cinco de Mayo wedding (two of our previous caterers unexpectedly quit with less than 3 months before our wedding date). KAC came through, from promptly and kindly responding to chaos-filled emails, to setting up an incredible tasting, offering support, and working with our very strict budget.

In the end of all of our stress, KAC was our silver lining. The food on the day-of was absolutely to die for, we had a menu that was filled with churros, street corn, fries, nachos, chowder, and TACOS, and everyone was thrilled with the options. Kimberley and her team are also very aware of eco-friendly alternatives, and offered biodegradable tableware. We are still so thankful to have found KAC, and I wish they had a Mexican-inspired restaurant that we could visit on a weekly basis because we're already craving more of their delicious food!

Kimberley was an absolute pleasure to work with. The menu she created was unique, accessible, delicious and a huge hit with the guests. Her creativity, experience, hard work and professionalism made our wedding truly magical. I highly recommend Kimberley Ashlee Catering and would love to work with her again in the future!

It was beyond a pleasure working with Kimberley + her fabulous team! From our first conversation she was positive, responsive and such a delight to work with. We was so impressed with her flexibility as we made changes to the menu very close to the wedding date. The quality + creativity of her plating and food presentation was the best I've seen in Pittsburgh - working her Kimberley and her staff the day of the wedding made for a perfect wedding with perfect service!!!!
