Ronnie is awesome — so fun. super upbeat. music was great , timeline was great, energy was so high. i’ve had multiple people ask me who our DJ was he was so good!

There is no way to overstate the impact that Ronnie had on our wedding. We were linked up with Kickin Aspen through a mutual friend and it was immediately apparent that Ronnie was on board with our entire vibe and vision. What blew us away was the care with which Ronnie executed everything and the seamlessness with which he communicated with both us and our other vendors. He offered his expertise and helped us make a number of hard decisions, his audio set up during the ceremony was a high level production and came with a number of contingency plans that put our minds to rest, his MC abilities carried the cocktail hour energy through our traditional reception proceedings, and once the after party began "DJ Ronnie" truly arrived. He even went above and beyond with our dance floor lighting and came with CO2 guns that he threw in just to keep the party going. My wife and I have been to many weddings and events and I could not recommend Ronnie and Kickin Aspen any more!

Ronnie and his instrumentalists were absolutely incredible. Ronnie was very responsive, creative, and overall great guy to work with. We told him our no play songs and must haves and let him take the rest from there. We put our full trust in him and he absolutely blew us away. Everyone was dancing from the younger crowd to grandparents. He is an expert in his craft, if you advises you on something take his lead!

If you get the opportunity to hire Ronnie as your DJ for an event, wedding, party etc. we highly recommend you do so. Yes, there are a lot of DJ is the field but the difference when working with Ronnie is significant. He's got an abundant amount of energy that resonates with the guest as he instinctively reads the crowd offering up music and kinetic energy that intrigues everyone filling a dance floor with families, adults, kids, parents (even my 87 year-old mom) to join in for a night full of dancing, love, laughter, dancing and more dancing. Ronnie is a seasoned professional when it comes to Emceeing with all the bells and whistles - awesome sound system, lights and even brings in talented jamming live musicians at your request yet, he's a personable guy who listens to your particular "wish list" creating an atmosphere you feel was made just for you! In a months time he Emceed and DJ'ed two weddings for our extended family and fashioned the nights (making them both over the top fun) very different.
Kudos to the this talented DJ but also have to mention - Ronnie is an absolute pleasure to work with. He actually cares that the memories last a lifetime. That's really cool.

Ronnie came prepared to the wedding. We had a few conversations prior to the wedding festivities, as he wanted to ensure he executed not only the ceremony smoothly but the reception, cocktail hour, etc. as well. We had a few different events throughout the wedding and not once did Ronnie miss the mark on the music or play the same song. He has a unique ability to continue to play songs that encourage all wedding attendees to dance, no matter your age you are inclined to be on the dance floor. While I understand this is not cheap, I have never once regretted spending money on him, given the experience he provided. He took the wedding to a different level, the entire weekend was elevated due to Ronnie. I would recommend him to anyone!!

He did an excellent job playing for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He executed timelines for a smooth event. The quality of his work is top-level. I have never experienced a DJ as good as Kicken Aspen. I would never want to go with anyone else. Leading up to the event we had several meetings, calls, and texts where he answered all of our questions. He even helped calm me down when I was feeling the stress of wedding planning. He truly cares and wants to be sure you and your guests have the best day!

He was able to get everyone up and dancing for the entire event! There was never a dull moment at the wedding. The mixing of the music was AMAZING!!! Plus the way he moved through the speeches and first dances was flawless.

Our friends and family all agreed he was the BEST DJ & Wedding they have been to! They haven't stopped talking about how much fun they had! All ages were up dancing even our grandparents!

He even made sure to give the photographer a heads up before important moments. He coordinated excellent with the caterer's timeline as well.

Kickin' Aspen Entertainment was easily the best wedding decision we made. We wanted to put on a great party for our friends and family and DJ Ronnie exceeded our expectations. To this day our friends and family talk about how they can't believe they danced for 3 plus hours at a wedding. We included a live violinist and saxophone player. It was easily the best decision ever. They helped make our ceremony and first dance romantic and intimate. They danced with our parents and livened up every part of the evening including dinner. We had the best of both worlds. DJ Ronnie put together a one of a kind playlist for us with various genres from Spanish music for my parents to getting my husband rapping to Biggie. All while the live musicians played along. If you are hesitant on whether you should include the live musicians, just do it! It truly made our wedding one of kind.

Not only did he help us put on the best party of our lives, he helped us plan the perfect day. He worked with each of our vendors to make sure the day went smoothly. He even provided insight on vendors he worked with in the past when we were making decisions. We had various check ins throughout the process and he was very patient as we made decisions. We got married at the Dallenbach Ranch in Basalt Colorado, an all outdoor venue, with three separate locations for the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and the Reception. DJ Ronnie took care of the lighting and sound at each location and made sure everyone could hear the ceremony and music. Best experience and best decision made. He made our lives easier while putting on the best party for our friends and family!

We hired DJ Ronnie for our wedding, and it was the best party of our lives! He is extremely professional and you can tell. From start to finish, Ronnie had plenty of valuable input on every detail of the wedding. For example, his comments on our wedding timeline helped keep the party flowing throughout the night without ever missing a beat. Our friends and family still tell us that they can't remember the last time they danced as much as they did at our wedding.

When we first started working with Ronnie, he mentioned that we could hire a few live musicians to add something special. We were hesitant at first about the extra cost, but it was the best decision we made for our wedding. The live violinist and sax player added so much to the overall vibe. The violinist played at the outdoor ceremony and made the setting very intimate and formal. Then at dinner, the sax player and violist were able to wander about serenading our guests. When we finally got to dancing, nothing makes a party better than live musicians playing like they mean it. Just take Ronnie's advice, he knows how to throw the most memorable parties.

We felt like we were in SUCH good hands and never worried about timeline, introducing people, flow of the event. Ronnie had it all taken care of --and we were right! We were told he was the best. His lighting, the speakers, the sound and the general vibe of the party. Ronnie knows how to read a room like no other and we just let him do his job and "take it away".
Our party was beyond what we could have imagined and Ronnie was a big part of that. One of used to work in event planning and I knew right away that Ronnie was our guy!
