Owner Kelsey has been providing this romantic service since 2019 and strives to turn a couple's romantic day-of moments into visual works of art. With each energetic brush stroke, she will make sure that your emotions and wedding day atmosphere shine.
Services Offered
Kelsey Shields Art will arrive at your venue early to handle setup and composition. She will make sure that her color choice matches your venue and atmosphere on the big day. During your celebration, she will bring the painting to life while you enjoy your day to the fullest, and make sure that the piece is finished by the time your event concludes. Kelsey can also provide commission paintings, using one of your favorite wedding photos as a reference. She is also offering guest portraits and will happily capture your family and friends using ink and watercolor. This a great option for a wedding favor as each guest has the opportunity to take home a piece of artwork. Please reach out to inquire about your date.

Kelsey Shields is the artist and owner behind Kelsey Shields Art, LLC. Sending an event inquiry puts you into contact with Kelsey directly.
After spending five years as an Elementary Art Teacher, Kelsey's passion for creating led her out of the art room and into the studio. She has been painting full time since the spring of 2019 and has been live painting at weddings for just as long! Kelsey thinks of each live wedding painting as an "art marathon". Each piece is created as quickly and as well as possible and takes about 4-6 hours to complete.
Kelsey loves chatting with guests throughtout the painting, something that her years as an art teacher has prepared her for. Live event painting is a fantastic form of entertainment and capturing your wedding's unique feeling and energy is top priority.
Kelsey has painted at a wide variety of weddings throughout Colorado. These include weddings of every style, culture, and tradition. She welcomes traditional ceremonies painted at places of worship or in family backyards as well as outdoor mountain venues or within ballrooms. She is happy to accommodate any location!
Outside of creating artwork, Kelsey enjoys spending time with friends and family. She works with highschool youth through YoungLife in Denver, enjoys skiing and camping, and finds much of her inspiration for her artwork through experiences in the outdoors.
