Based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kay Lynora Makeup is an on-site makeup and hair service for weddings and other special events. Owner Kaylee draws on her extensive experience as a makeup artist and costume designer to realize her clients’ beauty visions across New Mexico. You can call on this seasoned professional to help make you feel confident, comfortable, and ready for your wedding day.

Experience

Kaylee graduated from Texas State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre, having studied technical production and costume technologies. Her broad professional experience includes makeup application, hair styling, and costume design for theatrical productions, cinema, and more. Through Kay Lynora Makeup, this beauty professional applies her knowledge to help clients to look good from all angles in any lighting.

Wedding service with Kay Lynora Makeup begins with a consultation so that Kaylee can fully understand your vision and expectations for your look. This experienced artist offers natural makeup, contoured makeup, eye makeup, and false lash application, with trials available before your special day. Kaylee can also accommodate wedding parties, up to a maximum of five individuals. You may look forward to a skilled touch for your wedding day makeup.

Great makeup and hair

Kaylee did an amazing job on my makeup, I wanted a natural look, and she made me look like me but hotter. We weren't able to do a trial because I was coming in from out of town, and she did a great job figuring out how to do my hair when what I had in mind wasn't possibble. My mom had never had her makeup done and also enjoyed the getting ready process. Also, her booking process felt much more personal to me than some of the other makeup artists I looked at. Another good thing for me was that she does hair and makeup, and it was just me and my mom, so it was nice and easy for me to hire one person for both things. Highly recommend!

Amazing from start to finish

Kay was excellent from start to finish. From my trial to the wedding day, everything was perfect! I had a hairstyle in mind and she made it look far better than I imagined. I don’t like to wear makeup, but the amount she put on was perfectly suitable and made me feel beautiful inside and out. She listened to what I wanted and delivered above and beyond results. I cannot recommend her enough and will be telling all my friends to book her. She was professional, efficient, responsive, comforting, and very personable.

10/10 on everything

Kay did an amazing job on my bridesmaids and my make up on the day of my wedding. She was super friendly, extremely talented in her craft and fun to work with. I wanted a unique look for my wedding day and she nailed it for me! She was super knowledgeable and would explain what make up techniques will photograph well and what won’t look good in photographs. Highly recommend her to anyone,

Kay Lynora Makeup was excellent. She did both my hair and makeup for my wedding (as well as my bridesmaid’s)

Kay Lynora Makeup did an excellent job on my hair and makeup, as well as my bridesmaid’s. She was accommodating and had a good balance of helping us choose the styles we wanted as well as listening to our ideas/vision.

Absolutely wonderful

She always responded quickly. She she’s friendly and personable, which is important to me. The area we used to get ready was not the most accommodating but she made it work with ease. She did an amazing job and I wouldn’t hesitate to request her services again. Great experience.

Talented Makeup Artist

My Teo Sisters-in-law and niece all got our makeup/hair done for a wedding. Kay was super flexible and able to arrive very early (super early wedding time). She was friendly and easy going. Our makeup and hair looked gorgeous and stayed out for the whole day and night. I totally recommend Kay for wedding or any other special events. We would use her again in a heartbeat.

Do not waste your time or money!

I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! I paid $175 for makeup and hair style and I did not get what I asked for. I wanted Holly wood waves. Which she assured me and I quote “yes, I can do that style it’s one of my faves” I went in confident and came out to sad! I got what looked like next day beach waves and my makeup looked like my 5 year old did it. I tried to reach out toher requesting a refund and she refused. What she did was not even worth half of what I paid for! I explained that the prices were way to high for what she offers. She said she did the best she knew how. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I asked other hair stylist and they were so sad for me with what she did. Save your self and find someone else! I should have done more research before going to her. The was a waste of time and money! It’s so sad people scam us brides to be who are already stressed out! She should rethink her career choice or definitely lower her prices way down! She is not pro at all. She is a amateur! So I took the hit for you find someone else ladies! Here is a photo below of what I asked for vs what I got! What a joke!
