Working with Katie and Max was absolutely amazing! Of course taking photographs is a little awkward at first, but Katie made our engagement session very relaxed. Our wedding could not have gone better. To work with both Katie and Max who share similar passions of nerdisms, they made the day go smoothly and were very accommodating to get any pictures I missed out on our initial timeline. All of our pictures are stunning we my husband and I couldn’t be happier!

I've known katie for several years and knew I wanted her to be my photographer on my big day! Her work is phenomenal and I've so many people comment how well our wedding photos turned out. She made sure she got all the photos we requested plus hundreds more. Both mine and my husbands family are big so we had tons of family photos, it went fast and super smooth the day of. One thing I'd like to point out is the day of hr wedding it was rainy and looking at the photos you would never know! It's looks sunny and beautiful without people squinting. It was also cold and chilly but you couldn't tell that either! I can't thank Katie enough for keeping everything running so smooth on my wedding day, she became my personal wedding planner and that I'm forever greatful for!

My experience with Katie and Max was amazing! From the start I felt comfortable and very relaxed with them. They were very helpful and easy to work with. My now husband and I absolutely adore Katie and her husband, Max. Not only were the photos that they provided us absolutely stunning, but they made the entire process very fun. We did a lot of laughing and joking during our photos, and I think that the genuine laughter and happiness came through in our pictures. Katie knows all of the right tricks to make each picture look beautiful, and she isn't afraid to try new things to get the perfect shot (i.e. asking us to get in a freezing cold body of water during our engagement session and then climbing in right behind us - and it was totally worth it for the shots that she got!). I would recommend Katie and Max to anyone looking for some amazing photos!

Katie did an AMAZING job capturing every moment of our "Big Day"! She was extremely professional, energetic, and wonderfully talented. Katie met with us beforehand to discuss ideas, and went out of her way to make us happy. She had me send her pictures online via Pinterest to give her visual ideas of the type of photography we liked. It took about two months to receive our wedding CD, and it was worth the wait! We couldn't be happier with how they turned out!! Our wedding was in July and I still find myself in awe over every.single.picture. I would totally recommend Katie's services!! You won't regret it. :)

I'm waiting to receive our disc of photos now, but everything I've seen so far has been amazing. I searched for a long time (even before the proposal) to find the perfect photographer for our wedding, and by happenstance found Katie as a suggested post on Facebook one day. She had just recently moved to Kentucky and was running a special on her photography packages, so we scored an amazing deal. We met halfway to discuss details and talked for several hours about every last possible thing we could think of regarding the wedding photos.

I was a little nervous when she moved back to Maryland a few months before the wedding, thinking the worst possible things were of course going to come up right before the wedding, but I had no reason to worry at all. She and Max made it safely and soundly back to Kentucky for the wedding, and they were incredibly prompt, professional, fun, creative with their photos, and so much more. The reception hall was not as professional, and there was quite a delay on the schedule for the night. Nothing went as planned for the first couple of hours, and halfway through the reception, everyone was still eating dinner. This made me a little worrisome thinking that we were going to run out of time to get the dances, cake cutting, toast, etc. on camera, but Katie and Max were incredibly flexible and willing to work with us on it to make sure we got all of the photos that we wanted (regardless of the fact that they had a long drive back to Maryland following the reception).

Katie did a GREAT job capturing our day! I couldn't have imagined anyone else doing so. She worked so well with us and our family and was so great about everything thrown her way! I'd recommend Katie a million times!

Working with Katie is so brilliant. She makes every photo session fun and interactive. I have worked with her on my engagement, boudoir and wedding shoots and have NO complaints about any of them. She is always professional and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you get exactly what you paid for and more importantly what you are comfortable with. She wants all of your highest photography dreams to come true as much as she want the great satisfaction of getting the perfect shot. Katie and her soon to be husband were amazing photographers at our wedding! They were so friendly, took amazing photos, had great ideas, and listened to my ideas for photos as well! Everyone really enjoyed them. It is so nice to have a photographer who you can be in frequent communication with prior to the wedding, will come to your rehearsal to check out the layout of the venue, and who can be so easy to work with! I have seen the sneak preview of our wedding pictures and LOVE them! Can't wait to see the final product of all of them!

Katie Grillon was an excellent photographer! She provided fast service and did not make my guests wait around while I was getting pictures between the ceremony and reception. My pictures turned out beautifully and they came back very fast. She gave me complete rights to my photos for the best price around. It was also nice having a second shooter to provide a different angle for all the pictures. I reccommend Katie to anyone!
