There are so many photographers to choose from in Utah/Idaho but I knew from the time I got engaged that Katie was my first choice. There were a few things that were 'musts' for a photographer for our wedding. I new that they needed to have a really timeless style (no over editing), that they were skilled in shooting outside, even in harsh lighting, and they needed to have a personality that was relaxed and chill enough that my fiancé (who can't stand being even a tiny bit intimate or vulnerable in front of others), would be comfortable being himself while being photographed. Katie really delivered on all of those things. She was so great at searching out the most beautiful places in our area to be photographed. She was great with getting our big families to cooperate for pictures. She got such wonderful detail photos, candid photos, and posed pictures. She really caught our emotions in her pictures. She got our pictures for our engagements, bridal and groomals, and wedding pics back really quickly. She communicated really well through the entire engagement and wedding process. Apart from all that she did for us, she is just a really cool person. If you have the opportunity to work with her, do it. She is the full package as a wedding photographer.

Professional, kind, and very very good at her job! My husband and I aren’t the best at posing or knowing what to do and she guided us through the entire time! The photos turned out absolutely stunning! We are so happy and love Katie so much!

Katie was an amazing photographer for my fiancé and I's engagement photoshoot. She went above and beyond to make my childhood dream of riding on a yak come true. We had such a fun time posing thanks to her fun prompts and poses. Needless to say, the photos came out amazing! She was also super prompt with replies, put a lot of research into the location, and was amazing the day of - helping with everything including holding our bags! 10/10 recommend Katie for your next photoshoot.

Katie is the very best! She has been our go-to photographer for so many important life events. Most recently, she took our bridal photos and wedding photos and we absolutely love them. I am so grateful for the quality of photos that Katie took for our wedding. From engagements, to formals, to our ceremony and reception, she did an amazing job! The photos, both planned and candid, turned out to be very professional and finished. We planned our shoots around natural daylight, but even the photos from the times that weren't ideal light turned out great. She knows how to use what she has and added great editing when necessary.
