Hi there! I'm Katie!

I’m originally from Florida, but have been calling Northern California home for the last 4 years! I live in Sacramento, and I absolutely love being close to the Bay area, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and all the other beautiful scenery NorCal has to offer! While I am based out of Sacramento, I’m 100% down to travel to ANY location you wish to get married/elope in! Hawaii? Thailand? Jamaica? Sign me up!

I have my bachelors degree in American Sign Language Interpretation, and worked as a professional interpreter for over 5 years before going full time in photography in 2018. Sign Language and the Deaf community will always have a place in my heart, but I discovered that my true talent and passion is in capturing photos for people in love! A few other things about me - I have a personality-packed mini aussie named Milo, I’m mildly obsessed with crime documentaries/podcasts, I will literally drop everything I’m doing and go anywhere you ask if you tell me mimosas or eggs benny will be involved, and in 2020 I thru-hiked the Florida trail (1,108 miles) & you can pretty much catch me on any day of the week telling stories of my time/adventures doing that!


As your photographer, you can basically consider me your newest and most fun 3rd wheel! My goal is to make you feel completely comfortable. I don’t work with models… I work with real people who have very likely never been behind a camera before. I’m here to guide you each and every step of the way! You don’t need to look up or practice poses, I’ll give you fun prompts that will bring out true emotions in you and your partner. I specialize in candid photos, which will show your true and authentic self through my lens!
